Extended weekend
Cozy hotel in a quiet setting but with train in the backyard
The service is in top room in a good size clean and nicely
Bathroom with floor heating at this time of year But a toilet paper holder that sits around in the neck of a ☰ it is impossible to reach. Then you sit there and think where to mount it yes it is an option to put it on the door with some tape or on the opposite side
Breakfast is served in the restaurant next door there is a nice selection
But there was only one man to fill up and clean up even though there are vacant tables it's not a nice sight
There is also a small courtyard which must be cozy in the summer
If you are on a spot deal with the menu it is a little disappointing with the food and serving there were 4 servers and the 2 of them not very curiously waited 45 minutes for them to come and took our plates but it triggered a glass of wine
But when that is said/written it is super cozy place with plenty of options can well find on coming again

Clean hotel but yes we are not over excited.
Have purchased via Risskov travel.
Viewed photos and yes everything looks fine.
We'll get to the hotel. The staff are all kind, and that is clearly a good starting point.
Can look at the receptionist, that probably isn't the smartest thing with the room we're going to.
She says apologizing there are many stairs.
We walk towards the room and there are many stairs.. and those to the top floor we are apparently going to stay on are very steep.
I'm not the best walker, so the man has to pick up the last stuff.
We've seen a room with the most delicious bed. But the room we get is a trunk room with a small trunk and a Velux window.
There are two chairs in the room, one with a little leather or iron. Impossible to sit on. The other is a swing chair.
From the swing chair it is impossible to sit at the desk and play cards.
The rooms we have seen are with windows from floor to ceiling approx.
The bed is very low 45 cm does not resemble the same height as the beds in the pictures.
We give up playing cards and one of us sits in the swing chair the other on the bed. Not optimal!!!
Speaking with the receptionist, it is NOT possible to get another room, even if we only meet a couple once on the way up / down from the room.
The hotel is fine clean and there is heat in the floor of the bathroom which nothing is missing.
The food is okay but no more.
Breakfast was impeccable.
The last picture was what we saw of the rooms before booking. The woman at the front desk said all the beds were equally tall, maybe she's right but she doesn't look like that.

Not recommend this hotel
A small lobster (closet) with a Velux window, curved walls, so the otherwise wide bed stands so curved that you only have 30 cm around the end when there is a table hanging on the wall, in the bathroom there is an unpleasant yellow curtain it sticks together,and the hand wash is so small that you can hardly wash both hands at the same time, remember to keep your head curved to the left otherwise you knock your head into the curved wall. We ordered early in the year '26, and informed about the vegetarian diet, it was fine the first day but the second day was the prefixes and the main dish both vegetables like the others, I just got many more of them, artistically crafted on the plate with extra salt.
P-place we had to wait for an afternoon when customers from Kvickly across used this.
Can not recommend this hotel for those with difficulty walking as you can get a room up the steep staircase.

Deal on Birkesø
We had bought a deal of accommodation , 3 dishes menu , a drink and breakfast . Overall, you get a lot for the money.
The rooms seem a bit worn , with old beds . The bathroom was ok. The 3-course menu, was not much worth. All three dishes were marked by “fast food for all guests”
Breakfast was ok - delicious bread, cheeses and hot liver pasta. Juice and coffee were also fine.
The hotel is not suitable for difficult walking, meaner steep stairs to the 1st and 2nd floor
Free parking.
