The epitome of hospitality!

We were visiting Skagen via a cruise last week and we were wandering the city on a foot tour when it started to rain heavily. We dropped the tour and started running back to the ship when we happened upon this little GEM of a hotel. We wandered in and were greeted by the most hospitable person at the front desk. We asked if we could have a glass of wine until the storm passed. We ended up with a bottle of our favorite white wine, which she disclosed was also her favorite. We then asked if it was possible to have a snack...she disappeared into their kitchen and returned with a local delight of Fiskefrikadeller (Danish fish cakes), a traditional Danish bread and butter & two dipping sauces as well as a streusel type cake for a sweeet treat. TO DIE FOR! We had the most amazing little afternoon stop. We also found out that this magnificent person at the front desk was in fact the owner Didde Winter herself! She sat with us for a bit to share her story. What a memorable afternoon on our vacation that we will NEVER forget. We didn't get to stay the night BUT if you are ever in Skagen you MUST stay here. You will not be disappointed!!

Skagen Harbour Hotel

Can highly recommend this hotel.
We were two couples on a bike trip to Skagen who shared a suite in the hotel with 2 bedrooms and terraces and living room/kitchen. Perfect for us, nice to have the terraces and the living room where we could relax together after the day's experiences.
Nice and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and short way to everything we wanted to see and do

Great hotel in Skagen

Great hotel in Skagen with spacious and spotless rooms.
Very good and varied breakfast.
The staff is kind and helpful.
The hotel has private parking. Very central for visiting Skagen on foot or by bike.

Skagen's Best Place to Stay

Pure joy! Welcoming, warm, and relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable, staff are attentive, great location - shops, cafes, and more are an easy walk away. The breakfast is superb. Would go back in a minute.

Mini holiday at Skagen

Very nice hotel with nice staff close to everything.
Missed some main dishes for breakfast but otherwise quite okay.
A hotel to recommend

Glæder os I har haft det dejligt her - vi får ofte ros for vores morgenmad, hvor vi har prioriteret friskbagt brød fra eget bageri, hjemmelavede marmelader, müsli i flere varianter samt lokale specialiteter, bl.a lækkert pålæg fra Slagter Munch. Desuden blødkogte æg. Vi håber I nød det udvalg, trods evt andre forventinger.VI håber vi må byde jer velkommen igen en anden gang. Best regards Pia
