Welcoming but not luxurious

When you book at Palads hotel, the presentation on the website gives you a wonderful luxury feeling. In reality, the hotel is partly a monumental hotel building and furthermore a collection of retail buildings of which the upstairs hotel room is made. At check-in it was not nice that we were sent to an annex. We weren't expecting that. The room in the annex was otherwise good. The kitchen was complete but characterless. The bathroom was super luxurious with hot tub, sauna, and extra shower. Even a bidet. Everything worked too! Great double bed. I advise the owner to be clearer in where your room is, in what building. I would forget but the breakfast we loved! And friendly people.

Viborg apartment

We rented an apartment, good space but desperately in need of renovation, but maybe fair for the low price. Apartment needed vacuum cleaning here and there as there were some spiderwebs around, in roof and between or behind furnitures.
Breakfast was however good, in an old hotel that also could use some renovation.

Past its prime and kinda dingy

Parking is cramped and not necessarily close to your room - I wouldn't book here again if I were travelling by car, as there is not enough parking to go around.
Staff seems pleasant, breakfast is standard enough. I prefer my scrambled eggs quite dry, so they were great for me, but for most people they are probably sub-par.
The rooms are thoroughly worn down and a little too small. As two people, we can't keep both suitcases accessible and there's no real storage space for anything. There's cobwebs in the corners and up below the ceiling.
The electrical work is a layer-cake of new and old, and some of it seems rickety. There's no soundproofing to speak of, and I'm sure the windows are not up to current safety-standard, as they open all the way with nothing stopping you from climbing out.
The kicker for me is the bathroom. Outdated decor, nowhere to put your toiletries, and a ventilation fan that should have retired a decade ago. It is similarly cobweb-riddled to the rest of the room, with some colorful additions; black mold in the silicone corners of the shower and thoroughly coating the showerhead itself. The shower drain is clogged, so the bathroom floods when you try to use it.
The single-ply toilet paper is insult to injury.
In conclusion, it's a hotel room. A kinda dingy one. It's just fine enough that I'm okay staying here for my designated amount of time, but I will not be setting foot here again.

Old hotel, but okay for the price. Location is good, but parking spots are limited.
Breakfast is okay. Personel is nice.

Tjaaa there was a bed

We arrived at a room that looked nice, susse the violence room, first glance garbage in the bucket of the room (we bar over with this rest was clean, a little funny smell but we opened the window.
Spa we gave up it noisy as if it would wall all the dead us ...
So in addition comes parking that in fact was more or less hopeless.
Breakfast there were people who had to stand so we packed together pretty quickly so others could come to .
We didn't see much staff.
Would more call it a B&B place hotel is it definitely not.
It's a pity it's all so worn out and no how has the night been from the two staff that I preferred to talk to people.
