The hotel is very nice, situated in a close compound, not far away from the town center. Free and secure parking is granted. The room was wide, clean and comfortable, provided with all facilities and accessories we were in need of. The breakfast was fantastic, above all the variety of fruits and juices. We appreciate so much the attention paid to us by the Owner, Mrs. Charito, who look after us for the whole staying at the hotel.

This is an OK place to stay, the problem came when it was time to check out. They claim to accept credit cards on the website, but when the time came to pay, they claimed their machine was broken. When I showed them it wasn't they then claimed nobody knew how to use it! A real dog and pony show. I was forced to pay from my scarce cash. They then reported me as a no show so they wouldn't have to pay Hotels.com, thereby stiffing me on my two stamps. Real sleazebags.
For it's part, Hotels.com was no help. I tried reaching them repeatedly on the priority "Gold Members" line, but I could never get a connection because they claimed not to recognize the itinerary number. What a waste of time.
Avoid this place. They are thieves. As for Hotels.com I will stop using them unless I can't find better prices elsewhere.

An interesting place

When I went with my companions to Puyo we stayed at the hostel "Posada Real" since it is a very cozy place and inside it is beautiful there are portraits of ancient figures that make the place interesting, the hostel is located in the middle of the street Since you can hear noise but it is not a problem, the people who attend us inside the hostel provide help when staying, inside the hostel breakfast, lunch and snack are included, the cleaning is good since they are taking care of the toilet at all times In the rooms and in the dining room, security is excellent since at all times we leave the keys with the receptionist and when they return they give us our keys, the bathroom and showers are clean I liked the hot water more since it was very Rich when taking a bath, inside the hostel there are also bars, discos that you can enter and sing, play or dance, it is highly recommended to go, it is a good place.

A most pleasant hotel

Hotel Posada Real is located on the edge of Puya at walking distance from the centre. The hotel is family owned and operated, super clean, stylishly furnished and decorated, well maintained, non-smoking. Staffs are very helpful and friendly.
The hotel offers 7 guest-rooms. Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet and free parking on the property.
Our practical room was nicely decorated and furnished, with a very good double bed, a large TV and a fridge. The room had a nice balcony with table & chairs. We had a very small separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. All was spotless clean. Windows can be opened but have no mosquito screens.
The breakfast is very good with fresh fruits, butter & marmalade, toasted rolls, eggs to order, fresh fruit-juice, and coffee and tea. We recommend Posada Real to anyone who seeks a good night’s sleep in a nice establishment.
