Excellent location
A great budget guesthouse style base.
Clean, large rooms, free water, coffee and tea. Good breakfast included.
Friendly staff and an excellent location if you want to go diving or snorkelling. Very close to everything - by walking

Thoughtful little things
Thoughtful little things.
The hotel is budget, no frills. But there's so much upside, you're just excited!
The room has everything you need: fridge, safe, air conditioning, cooler with cold and hot water! Rack with clothes hangers and rack for other things. Good Wi-Fi.
The bathroom is small but comfortable. Toilet and shower at different ends, no water pouring on the seat. Towel hooks are also away from the shower. There is a flooring area for storage of change. There's a bucket of buckets - you can even spread something if you want.
Comfortable mattress on the bed, moderately soft. Linen and towels are pure, fragrant! They change in a few days.
In general, the Gesta is very clean. Good plumbing, nice bathroom tiles, water heater. All clean, functional, comfortable.
And the thoughtful little things. The hosts really understand what they need for their convenience! There are sockets in all strategic places: by the bed, by the table and even on the veranda! (It is better to take an adapter from an Asian outlet to a Europlug, as our plugs do not hold well). Yes, our double standard had a spacious veranda with table and chairs. Comfortable drying wet stuff. There is also another urn on the veranda so that the skin from the fruit does not attract ants to the room.
The room has a couple of mugs and glasses, even tea and coffee kits! Hot and cold water from the cooler is available 24 hours a day. The lighting is good, bright, plus table lights by the bed.
A hearty breakfast is included. There are 4 options to choose from.
Access to the sea is practically close, 50 meters. Right to the sardine place!
There are lots of cafes, shops, tricycles.
Of the budget options, this is probably the most thoughtful housing I've seen! My heartfelt recommendation!

Location, Food and Hospitality. Basic set up with excellent location and best hospitality
We had booked a standard double room which had a small living room having a sofa, bedroom with 2 beds and a kitchen area with basic kitchenette, dining table and water dispenser with hot/cold water. Rooms were clean and enough towels were provided. The guest house is bang on the Panagsama beach and Sardine run entry is just 20 steps away. This was the only hotel (out of 4 that we stayed in Phillipines) that provided complimentary breakfast and believe me thats quite needed in Moalboal as restaurants there start there day late. They had multiple options breakfast options to choose from and their sandwiches are delicious.
The best thing is the staff here and I cant write enough about them. My kid felt sick and we were not finding appropriate food in restaurants outside. Upon request they prepared and delivered food to our room for the kid which was a blessing at that critical time. We were checking out very early around 2 am, the lady at the reception packed us Sandwiches for the morning, we were so touched by the gesture. Above all, when I went to pay for the meals they provided for my kid, they refused to accept and gave us a warm smile. A big shout out to all the staff working there.
