This was an extended 1 night after being at this resort for 3 nights.
1. Excellent Sevice and Amenities (snorkeling was fun to see fishes and corals but be careful of the rocks. It can scratch your skin. Kayaking was also fun. Other amenities includes swimming pool, billiards and lounge chairs. It’s so nice to seat outside for breakfast and dinner.
2. Price: Excellent. It was worth every penny of it! …and more!
Note: Room was basic not luxury but amenities were provided.
Note: I also had check-in at two other resorts in the area. This is the best especially for the price what you get.

Cockroach's, Ants, Rain in the room on bed, no water pressure, dirty and stinks
Heard and read some fantastic reviews about The Phillip Anne resort… here is ours.
Positives: Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic comfortable pillows.
Negatives: Rain in rooms and onto the beds of the family room.
Showers are abysmal. Extremely poor water pressure, water not much more than a drip & stinks, heating works but is luke warm, other room is cold… towels are like sand paper, no small towels provided or available. Had better showers at Oodnadatta.
Ants in all rooms and cockroaches in our family room, toilet blocked on arrival and doesn’t flush, limited toilet paper.
WIFi provided all around the resort, however speed is similar to 90’s dialup speeds. Spent more time watching the spinning wheel of death on Netflix than anything else. They need to spend less money on spying security cameras and spend more on guest wifi.
Beds are cheap and bedding is poor with only a sheet and thin quilt cover provided. Flies and mosquitoes in both rooms.
Food menu looks good at first glance, but portion size is tiny, share plates are not enough to share, food was raw and undercooked… fresh orange juice is Tang.
Please fix the toilet seats and secure them properly.
We booked for 7 nights, but only stayed 1 before shifting elsewhere. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you for your review . You have also omitted the fact that you attempted and refused to pay your restaurant bill , and acted in an aggressive and threatening manner in the ludicrous hope that we would " credit" and write off your restaurant bill. A pertinent thought would be , just how many establishments have you attempted this request on?
However, following our internal review, we do not believe that several statements in this review accurately represent the condition of our accommodation or the service provided during your stay.
You have complained about wifi speeds during an actual typhoon.
The resort’s CCTV system is installed in appropriate public areas for the safety and security of guests, employees and property. It is not used to “spy” on guests, and describing it in that way is both inaccurate and misleading. It is also mandated by Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), while privacy and data handling are regulated nationally by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
We take genuine complaints extremely seriously and always encourage guests to report concerns immediately so that our team can inspect the room and provide a solution. Unfortunately, the extent of the allegations now described publicly was not brought to management’s attention in a way that allowed us to verify and address each matter during the stay.
Leaving doors open is also counter productive for the prevention of flies
The Philip Ann Resort maintains regular housekeeping, maintenance and professional pest-control procedures. As a seafront tropical property, occasional insects can enter despite preventative treatment, particularly during wet weather and a typhoon , but any reported occurrence is dealt with promptly. We also investigate immediately any report of water ingress, plumbing failure, inadequate water pressure or cleanliness concerns.
Our food is prepared to established safety standards, and we strongly dispute any suggestion that serving raw or unsafe food is an accepted practice at our restaurant. Had an unsuitable dish been reported, it would have been inspected and replaced immediately.
We recognise that internet speeds in a coastal location can occasionally be affected by the local service provider. Nevertheless, we continue investing in our connectivity and other guest facilities. Four different connections provided clearly wasnt enough for yourself
We respect every guest’s right to express an opinion, including dissatisfaction with comfort, towels, portion sizes or personal preferences. However, serious factual allegations should be fair, accurate and capable of verification.
Likewise, based on our experience and the significant difference between the events recorded by our team and the allegations made in this review, we accept that The Philip Ann Resort may not be suitable for you. We therefore believe it would be in everyone’s best interests not to accept any future reservation from your party.
We remain committed to supporting our honest and hardworking employees, who should always be treated fairly and respectfully. While we welcome genuine and constructive criticism, we cannot accept statements that we believe are inaccurate, misleading or unfairly damaging to our team and business.

I found the Philip Ann Resort a wonderful place to stay. For such a small location it offers multitude of games and activities on and around the resort. From the games room, sun decks, variety of lounge areas, restaurant , pool, jacuzzi, a tiki bar, and a DJ. There is a little something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and worked hard to ensure their customers had a great experience.

Looking for the one? Philip-Ann Resort is a Budget-Friendly Resort with Excellent Service and Experience
The Food, Views, Amenities, Entertainment, and Staffs was immaculate. It was not the planned resort, but was one of the better resorts that have fitted our budget. Highly recommended!

A unique & remarkable Resort
The water pressure in the shower was strong, and the shower unit was unique and luxurious, it did however , take me a minute to figure out the buttons lol
Spacious room with solar power sockets
Heated Jacuzzi is a soothing luxury, whilst staying I saw , the resort has acquired a newly spacious building and land to the side, I will be intrigued to see the completion of this.
