To get what you pay for
Fast, if somewhat intermittent WiFi. Store close by for essentials. Shopright supermarket within easy walking distance. Convenient same day laundry service close by.
The staff are super friendly and efficient

Cockroaches in the room! Stay elsewhere and thank me later.
Information re hostel facilities and photos of the place have very little to do with reality. The common area-kitchen is small, old and dirty, and rooms are super tiny –two people standing inside can’t move around, never mind keeping luggage in there too. Website even says their ‘amazing bathrooms’ come with a bathtub, which is totally false.
Obviously they’ve tried to make as many rooms as possible in such a small area that they’ve gone way too far.
Cockroaches inside the room.
Bedsheets are tiny.
Location is not good: it’s not near the Makati area where you want to hang around and there are no shops around. You can walk to the cool areas but it’s easier to get a Grab taxi.
Too noisy till late night. Parties, karaoke and drunk people shouting and smoking outside your room.
In summary, I can’t recommend this place and wouldn’t stay here again. You can find other better places around for similar money.

You can do better
Unfortunately, despite being cheap, I can't say you get value for money. The rooms are too small-scale so small that when I was there many guests had to leave their suitcases in the hall because they had no space in their room for a suitcase. I had a double room, which was cramped for 1. They have tried to create as many rooms as possible which was a mistake. The walls are thin and the only window I had faced the hall. I don't mind not having a window, but a window facing the hall made the room much noisier. There was no bed, just a matress on the floor. I think the place was quite new, and that may be why I didn't see any bugs in the room.
The location is not convenient. In fact, I would say it is one of the least convenient places in central Manila. You need a taxi to go anywhere, and you aren't really close to anything. In addition, there is no convenience store nearby, which I find inconvenient.
I did find other places which offered good private rooms with shared bathroom for 600-800peso/night, and found that infinitely better. I am not very picky and am generally happy wherever I stay, but I have to say I won't be staying at Ervoruto again.
Because it is cheap I have given it 2 stars, but that is generous.

El peor hotel en 2 meses en Filipinas
El hotel estaba muy sucio en las zonas comunes. La cocina era imposible usarla, siempre había gente, parece que la propia familia que vive allí y siempre estaba impracticable de lo sucia que estaba. Estuvimos los dos días de estancia sin agua y sin limpieza en los baños aucumulandose todos los desechos humanos de los huéspedes. Imposible tirar de la cadena o echar agua con un cubo.
La gente fumaba en la zona de las habitaciones y entraba el humo en la nuestra, las colillas estaban por todo el pasillo. Las habitaciones son como cápsulas y aunque no estén realmente mal a pesar de lo pequeñas que son estan todas super juntas y la ventana da al pasillo donde la gente hace muchísimo ruido y mantiene la música super alta. Se escucha todo. Parece más una residencia de estudiantes.
A pesar de que el personal fue muy amable con nosotros y el precio estaba muy bien para ser Manila no repetiremos en este alojamiento.

Ужасное место! Абсолютно неквалифицированный персонал и наплевательское отношение к гостям!
В Ervoruto я заселился 28 августа и спросил где я могу припарковать автомобиль. Мне указали на место прямо перед отелем. Машина так простояла до 30 августа. 30 августа, в мое отсутствие, полиция поставила блокиратор на колесо моей машины и выписала штраф 2000 песо. Сотрудники отеля свою вину признать отказались и сказали, что это моя машина и моя проблема.
