Beautiful Beach, Great Staff, Delicious food. Perfect 4 weeks!

My wife and I stayed here for 4 weeks in the beautiful beach room (view from room in photos).
Karl & Lynn are friendly amazing owners. The staff were very kind and showed great service.
Location is perfect with the beach and reef just there. Not too far from Pacifico for surfing.
3B has delicious and safe food. Personal favourite was the Chicken Sisig. There are other nice restaurants and local bakeries near by.
Great 4 week stay! Would recommend others to do it too.

Owner from Germany is a bad host

I went to his new premises under same name .this guy speaks to his staff badly and complaining about everything. He over charges.turns the power off when running the air-conditioning. Uses his step children as child labour .gets you to buy a fish from his restaurant then feeds his family from same fish .not a pleasant place to stay when he is bad mouths his family and staff

Hell, ransom, intimidation, overcharged, bug bitten, no transport out

The owner is a racist, South African, German born. He hates Australians and was angry the whole time very soon after prepaying 3 days. My partner's mistake was to run an account. She liked to drink hot water which I'm sure she was charged at the rate of coffee. He found fault with you so that when we left, we had to pay an account which they wouldn't show. The bill was astronomical and my partner paid it without my knowledge so we could leave! We had to leave in the dark, early hours of the morning to make the boat. They called a tricycle but the rate was very, very expensive. He picked us up at a cheap rate to get there; but then we were basically held to ransom.
When you order fish, they made us pay per head, then when he hadn't finished, we had to vacate the table so that fish could be fed to his family! If you're going to feed your family, separate the fish, family from paying guests. And you have enough tables! Basically he was a very rude, greedy man. His family were lovely so I hope they give him the boot! His joke to my Filipino partner was that he wants a Filipino brain when the person dies because it's 'never been used', "I want your brain" he said to my partner and the driver. There were countless disrespectful jokes and statements to the Filipino people. The people you seen in the photos just go there for the food and karaoke. We were the only ones staying there at the time. The food was ok, just don't trust him, don't stay there!
The accommodation was sub-standard, but seemed to be cheap, at first! Be prepared for bugs, cold showers, using a bucket to flush the toilet and the same bucket to wash yourself after using the toilet.
