Nice and stylish hotel with nice rooms and delicious breakfast, great location right by the sea. Stylely furnished and comfortable rooms.

You cant eat the room!

Never again!
Good location near the city center and the sea! But the negative thing was the attitude of the hotel owner lady. When we parked the car and had to move her scooter a little, a terrible scream started. You can't touch it, you can't move it. We were leaving early in the morning for the airport and asked about breakfast. It didn't work. So we picked up our own lunch and asked if we could put the cheese and sausages in the kitchen fridge? And then eat breakfast in our room. That made the lady angry, in their hotel you can't eat in the room! In the morning the lady repeated that you can't eat in the rooms. We were amazed. The first hotel during the entire trip to France and also the first hotel in the whole world where eating in the rooms is prohibited.

Nice B &B

Nice clean hotel, not too far from the beaches, on a side street, more b &b than hotel. Our room was OK, the bathroom in our room was very nice. The breakfast was good, only one of each item though, one coffee, one orange juice, one croissant etc.
My main gripe is that the owner wasn't very friendly , not welcoming at all. I would not return because of this. Ps there are building works currently directly next door.

Good small hotel

A house on different heights, transformed into a hotel. Friendly and helpful owner, she made us take advantage of her bikes to get around Arcachon. We changed three rooms in three days (we knew we should have done it because there were not many more availabilities when we booked), so we could evaluate 3 of them.
One really too small, two more perfect. Only tip: go with someone you have a great understanding with and don't need privacy, because two of the three bedrooms had no doors to separate the bathroom, so zero privacy for those in the shower or at the sink.

Owner/manager very unpleasant

The hotel is very cute, quite well located and the rooms nicely decorated... too bad the setting is spoiled by the attitude of the staff! At check-in, before we could even say hello we were greeted by a “we warned you that the rooms were only available at 15.00” in a tone of reproach when we only wanted to drop our bags and go enjoy the beach.
At the time of check out, the manager improvised a tax of €2.50 per electric bike battery that we refused to pay, this i not having been notified to us and not appearing anywhere.
The tone then rose, the manager calls us dishonest people and slams the door in our face!
In short, there are plenty of other equally charming establishments around, and where you won't risk being called dishonest...
Establishment to avoid, too bad!
