Very authentic abbey with modern elements

A wonderful historic and very authentic building. It's an immersion in a bygone era, all combined with modern technology and very appealing, current bathrooms.
Dinner in the stylish restaurant we could not enjoy as it had not yet opened seasonally.
Absolutely recommended, alone the terrace overlooking the river and the old abbey.
It is a very well located base for some of the castles on the Loire.

The hotel was a most interesting and comfortable place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly responding quickly to requests, Breakfast was very good; i'd like to suggest the addition of a variety of fresh fruits and yoghurts would make it perfect. A little more attention to cleanliness around plug sockets would be nice. The hotel is very well located for the river and the town. Parking was adequate.
I would certainly stay again.

Go for it!!!

Majestic and unique hotel, I highly recommend it; the setting is magnificent with a view of the Loire and right next to it is a magical abbey, the stained glass windows are splendid.
The hotel staff (receptionists, bar staff, waiters, and waitresses) are very attentive and provide excellent advice! The hotel's rotisserie is located within the hotel, making it very easy to access. The rotisserie offers simple yet very refined cuisine; the wood-fired salmon is excellent, and the portions are generous!
A big thank you, I highly recommend it!!!!!

Original hotel with caring staff.

Very beautiful, unique, and original hotel; the setting is refreshing and fits perfectly with the theme of a weekend visiting the châteaux of the Loire!
The staff is extraordinarily kind; we were wonderfully welcomed by the entire team (receptionists / waiters / bar staff) who were very attentive and guided us for visits in the area.
The breakfast buffet is simple, but it has everything you need to satisfy yourself (sweet options like tart/brioche/bread/cereal and savory options like cheese/ham/eggs).
Moreover, Beaugency is a very pleasant little town full of charm and peacefulness with very good restaurants (but do not forget to eat at the hotel's rotisserie, which is excellent!).
I therefore recommend this hotel.

The Abbey is gorgeous. The public areas are outstanding. Our room was a little dated but still very charming. Perfect location and extra points for being dog friendly! Would definitely return.
