Fabulous stay!

A house, a family, a story…
Having arrived at Maison Prieuré a bit by chance, we immediately fell under its spell.
Here, every wall, every piece of furniture, every painting seems to have a story to tell. Everything breathes beauty, authenticity, and time passing with elegance. And then there is the coolness of the building, so precious in the middle of a heatwave, the shade of the linden tree, the gentleness of the place, the kindness of our hostess Elise and, of course, the deliciousness of the breakfast…
So many little joys that, put together, make up the soul of this house.
We will return, that is certain. Because we still have many things to discover in this region which is full of sites, and above all, because a carriage ride awaits us — offered by Cécile, Elise's sister.
Here, you take the time to live, to breathe, and to rest.
Beauty, kindness, and authenticity seem to have met there.
As if a few fairies, with a wave of a magic wand, had united their talents to transform this house into a true haven of peace, gentleness, and serenity.
Thank you for this beautiful break. We are leaving with lovely memories… and already the desire to return.

Superb place

This priory, restored with taste and respect, is a beautiful discovery in the Oise. We spent one night there and appreciated several things:
The owner's welcome is warm; she takes the time to look after her guests.
The beauty of the place, the calm, the sunset with the swallows fluttering in front of the room windows.
The comfort of the Elisabeth room, high ceilings, superb floor space, very chic renovation, beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet.... Everything was perfect.
The hearty and varied breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room
The owner's recommendations regarding both visits and restaurants.
For us, it is flawless

Absolutely fabulous!!

We stayed as a family of 9 (6 adults and 3 children). 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children - 10 and 14) were in the gite (hidden away via a secret door) and the the rest were in rooms in the main building. Everything about this stay was fantastic: the gite had everything we needed (kitchen, lounge, washing machine, ironing board and access to a private garden ). Breakfast was fresh every morning and the host was fabulous and very accommodating. The pool table in the communal lounge, board games in the gite and trampoline in the gite garden meant everyone (including the 3 children) were fully entertained. During our stay, we visited Chateau Chantilly and travelled by train into Paris for the day. The host was very helpful with the logistics of the trip to Paris and the train station she recommended travelling from had free parking on a Saturday and Sunday.

Recommend without reservation!

We spent a night in this beautiful place.
Everything was perfect, from bedding to bedroom.
The breakfast was great too.
The house is beautiful and located in a charming village.
If I had one area of improvement it would be eggs for breakfast.
In any case, we will gladly return!

Peaceful, beautiful and tasteful place to stay

Maison prieuré is a peaceful, beautiful place to stay. The house and the adjacent ruin are exceptionally beautiful and calm. la maison de Sophie, the gîte is impeccably clean and very tastefully decorated and fitted out. Elise is welcoming and very friendly. The dishes and puddings sold in jars are delicious. Thank you for a very restful place chosen several hundred years ago to favour contemplation.
