never stay here again

we was told we had to pay cleaning service of £70 when we arrived there. This is a shock as we was not informed of this before hand. The service of the lady at the hotel was unprofessional and poor. I would not recommend people to stay at this hotel. The photos are not true reflection of how the hotel looks in real life. They have uncomfortable sofa beds and not actual beds. Moreover there no shampoos or any toiletries.

Sleepless Nights

We stayed here for 4 days during the summer. The only thing I liked was the fact that everything was accessible from this place, on the contrary, it's located on a busy alley. Several restaurants are just below the room we stayed at. Maintenance of the place was really poor. Our apartment had a terrible smell. Air conditioning wasn't working well, it was pouring water and flooding the floor of the living room, had to put towels on it. It was hot and we had to open our window during the night which was a terrible idea because it was noisy outside, there were a lot of passersby even during late hours. Well even if the windows were closed, the environment is just too noisy. Our room wasn't that dark during the night because the curtains were too sheer. Slept really bad during our whole stay.

Uncomfortable

We booked a room with double bed and 2 single beds all the beds need renewing as they were all uncomfortable the double bed was infact a sofa bed and sinle beds were very slim single beds one wrong move and you will crash on the floor

Good location but that is all

We arranged key pick up at 2 pm. Had to stand on the street in mid 30 degree heat and the hosts did not turn up until 2.35 pm. Then we were shown to a studio apartment with sofa bed (not even a real bed) when we had booked a 1 bed apartment. We had to insist on our booking being honoured and then after production of our emails proving we had booked a 1 bed and several phone calls we were told "a solution has been found" - and we were given a 1 bed apartment.
In this apartment, the living room air conditioning unit was pouring water and flooding the floor. We reported this and they promptly came to have a look, and said they would have to get an engineer, who we still hadn't seen when we left 3 days later. We had to put a saucepan underneath the unit with a towel in it to deaden the sound of the drips. In addition, the bedroom air con unit was noisy enough to keep us awake at night. No curtains at the windows either to keep out the light, so even if the air con hadn't kept us awake, the light would have.
Floor was dirty - as soon as you took your shoes off you could fell the grit underfoot.
Wifi was rubbish - the only place it worked was in one small corner of the kitchen

Very unpleasant and incompetent service and dirty bathroom

The apartment is located within a walking distance to the main attractions of Cannes. However, the property charges 40 EUR for the check-in after 8pm while the key could be handed without any assistance by a person. Also, the property charges 40 EUR for the cleaning fee per stay.
The son of the owner who handed me over the key was very impolite and aggressive. On day 1, when I left the building, at the entrance door, I met another guest of the residence who could not re-enter the building and asked me for help, as he locked himself out of the building. We compared the codes that we received from the son of the owner and his code was invalid, so I had to help the man out because it was already late at night.
Our bathroom had fungi on the ceiling and in the corners. Overall, the stay was unpleasant, the service was incompetent and the additional fees are a rip-off.
