Excellently located complex
The studios and apartments are located in a new elderly complex. For us that was no problem at all. We just sleep there and then we're out.
The complex is perfectly located: opposite the medieval city. A short 10-minute walk, then you're there. It's up the mountain!
We had a nice spacious two-room apartment (no. 134) of 45m2. With a spacious bathroom, a kitchenette and a large balcony. The air conditioning does its job excellently. The apartment can be easily darkened by means of electric shutters. Security is well arranged. You can't enter the complex without an access pass.
The free parking is also well arranged. The parking lot is equipped with high electric entrance gates.
The staff is very friendly. But there are a few downsides. The staff speak no or very moderate English. That makes communicating rather difficult.
It is possible to order breakfast (€11), but that does not leave. We had breakfast at the nearby Hôtel du Pont Vieux. For €13 you can have breakfast there. You have to check the day before if there is room.

Ideal accommodation with excellent value for money
What a beautiful discovery that the Domitys de Carcassonne residence! Its ideal location to access the city or the city center , the quality of accommodation and services , the services included , the welcome of the staff ... make it the best address I know in Carcassonne and to which I can not wait to return. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, clean, well maintained and remarkably well appointed. The swimming pool, gym, gardens... are accessible to passing guests and the idea of mixing permanent residents with occasional guests is excellent. You’ll be around happy residents with your pets and you can understand why they chose this type of accommodation. Finally, the establishment benefits from a fenced and free parking and the price quality ratio of one night in an apartment is unbeatable. The icing on the cake: the personalized welcome on each door with the client’s name on the background of the city of Carcassonne. Bravo and thank you also for keeping your luggage at the reception after the deadline of departure.

What a nice surprise!
Welcoming at the top; the staff went out of their way to intervene on the TV that was not working and everything was quickly fixed.
The studio is very cute with everything needed. Cozy, spacious and quiet. Really impeccable! Close to the city.
Do not hesitate, go with your eyes closed!
