Great location

This hotel sits just outside one of the entrances to Carscaonne. Lovely bar area overlooking city walls. Breakfast was fine, served rather than buffet. Bolied eggs and pastries. Room very dark but would have been ok had our aircon worked...it didnt. Clearly some central fault as rooms 1 and 2 stopped working in tandem. Didnt appreciate being told off for touching the controller...which was exactly what we were told to do on check in to work the aircon. Female staff were charming, male staff need some training (the aircon discussion wasnt the only dismmissive encounter we had.) Easy parking.

Great Hotel !

Great hotel just a short walk from the medieval Cite. Modern, interesting and well equipped rooms, some with very bright and cheerful colour schemes. Brilliant staff, and a great breakfast ! Whilst the hotel doesn't have a restaurant as such, there are many choices available within the old city walls. Lovely view of the castle from the bar and terrace.

Good location for seeing the old town.

A nice hotel, located steps from the old town, high on the hill. But the rooms were really cramped -- felt like being on a ship. And our room was at ground level with a path close to the window which reduced the privacy. And then the bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a glass wall. All this necessitating keeping the shutters closed for the entire stay. The breakfast was OK. Hugo on the reception was helpful.

This a charming boutique hotel right in front of the main gate of the citadel. We really enjoyed our stay and we can only praise the staff and the quality of the hotel.
Our only slight disappointment was the layout of the room and what we have seen it seems that they all share the same flaws. While the quality, cleanliness and space was there, we found the room crowded and badly designed. For example there is only one small table that is overloaded with a coffeemaker, a lamp and a pile of documents about everything and anything. That the easy one to fix. The bathroom is weirdly designed, same feeling it seems the architect wanted to put all possible things in a too small area for that. You have a shower, a bath, a toilet and a double sink in a space of 2.5 by 3 meters. It doesn’t really fit, leading with a tiny shower and the toilet right in front of it and no space to circulate between the sinks and the bath.

Really nice hotel, very convenient location.
The downside is breakfast, the amounts served are really poor (ham/cheese look more like nibbles), no good value for money in my view.
