Stay at Triton!

Enjoyed our stay very much! We arrived early from China, before the check in time , however, our check in was smooth and professional. Rey welcomed us and gave us a nice room, very friendly environment and knowledgeable front desk personnel. Thanks Rey for your help. We recommend this hotel to our family and friends!

A great sea view

We were very well received.
We had a room for three with sea view, the room was spacious.
The pillows for us were not thick enough, too flat.
Breakfast is very good, there is a bit of everything.
We were able to have lunch facing the sea.
Too bad there is no parking nearby.

Horrible girl at reception.

The Triton has an excellent view of Collioure, however the room (2nd floor with Seaview) is very tiny and the bathroom is super small. The gentleman the evening before at check in was very pleasant however the young girl at the reception in the morning was very rude and refused to let my wife fill her small thermos with hot water for tea from the breakfast "buffet". This girl should not be working there in the hospitality business. When we checked out there was no hello/goodbye/merci or any smile from her. We will not be going back to this hotel.

Location,location, location

This hotel is all about its location. It’s almost on the beach at the end of one of the two bays in Collioure. I’d say there’s probably no other hotel at this price with a location like it in Collioure.
The key request if you book is to have a balcony and the sea view. And you could sit for hours! Yes the balcony is small but the view is great.
There are downsides - like many hotels in France there’s no kettle and you should pack a mini kettle because apart from breakfast there’s no access to coffee or tea on site. And there is no bar.
So the nearest bar for a coffee is 40 yards away open from 8.00 till late.
It’s clean, the breakfast is €9 and the croissant and bread are crunchy and v fresh
Collioure is just fab!

location location location

For location you cannot have better, we had a triple room on the second floor with a window and small balcony,. We had superb views of the beach,hills,castle , church and harbour. The room was clean with reasonably comfy beds. Slight issue with only one plug socket in the room between the beds. Bathroom wasn't great but ok. Shower was very cramped and was only a hand held so constantly putting it down so you could wash.
Breakfast was included in the price and was adequate with the usual continental selection. You eat this in the adjoining restaurant and had the views. All the staff we came across were very pleasant.
For the money we paid I have no complaints and the view alone worth the money.
