A little gem

What a beautiful surprise the Manoir de Mathan was, where we started our vacation by chance and where we finished it.
How good it feels to be in something beautiful and good!
A very warm welcome, a breakfast with good products, real eggs, real orange juice and staff who are very attentive and always ready to help.
Hard to leave this exceptional place.
A vacation spot all on its own. Enjoy the park for a little stroll or a lounge chair to read a good book and let time slip away outside of time.
We are keeping this address preciously.

Magical Manor

This manor was absolutely charming! We stayed in the junior suite which was lovely and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and tended to all our needs during our stay. The provincial town of Crepon is in walking distance from the manor, and was really fun to explore. If you want a few nights away from it all, this is the place to be.

A place of peace

We stayed for three nights in August, a true oasis of peace, we had a great time, large and clean room, excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice every morning. Very kind and cheerful staff, we felt at home, it was a shame to leave. Ideal location for those who wish to visit the landing areas, the cemetery, Bayeux and the small seaside towns.

An excellent address

Reservation for 3 nights to explore the landing sites
.The person in charge of the reservation is charming and professional.
The buildings are perfectly restored and the very comfortable rooms respect the spirit of the place.
Ground floor terrace opening onto the garden.
Good breakfast with very efficient service
We leave the place with regrets..
Only (small) downside: the cars that park in the courtyard "pollute" the beauty of the whole, a shame because there is a well-indicated parking lot behind the buildings so not visible..the owner took my remark badly, even though it was formulated after a torrent of compliments...
Last "detail" the empty drink crates that are at the level of the magnificent entrance porch...a shame!
And easy to fix!
Note that on the establishment's website NO car is in the courtyard!

A relaxing break in Normandy

My husband and I returned after six years. It is always wonderful! An enchanting location, spacious, very clean rooms, they are very kind both at the reception and the staff in charge of cleaning the rooms. They accept dogs, there is a beautiful garden where you can take your furry friends. The breakfast is very good and there is the possibility of having fresh orange juice as well as omelets and scrambled eggs prepared on the spot. What can I say, it's a shame we can't go back every year! In the garden, they have placed comfortable lounge chairs as well as small tables with chairs so that guests can relax, have a cold drink, read, or sunbathe. Furthermore, the hotel is just a few km from Gold Beach, a huge beach where you can go running, cycling, or walking with your dogs in the morning, just pay attention to the tide times!
