A perfect piece of paradise

What a wonderful little piece of paradise! Everything at Le Relais is perfect for a totally peaceful, relaxing break. The rooms are spacious and very cool and comfortable in the current heatwave. The beds are extremely comfortable and Jane, the host is just lovely! The location is very rural and peaceful and the house has large grounds and wonderful views. There is a lovely swimming pool and private access to the Dordogne river- which is perfect in this hot weather. Breakfast is excellent - home cooked and plentiful and a chance to meet the other guests in the cool, communal kitchen. This is our third visit to this little piece of heaven and we would recommend it to anyone.

Great value, friendly owner

Very affordable, friendly owner, great breakfast with good selection. A bit of a drive from Domme, down towards the river on a stretch of unpaved road, but fine.

Most disgusting place in my entire trip

Please runnnnnnn!!!!!!!! it is simply gross the yard has only weeds, and the chairs are full of dust outside. The room has a lot of spider nets and there are 10+ mosquitos on the ceiling in the room. We have to leave right away to find another place to spend the night as the condition is not acceptable. This is really scam I don’t know where they got the good reviews. The place looks nothing like the photos!!! Please please do not waste your €140 it is throwing money into the water.

An enchanted place perfect to disconnect

The house is authentic and well located if you want to discover Périgord.
The +: the sunset over the Dordogne that passes just below the garden.
The 2nd +: the room, with its stove and bath facing the view, a cocoon of dream!
Duncan and Jane have a sense of welcome and everything was perfect during our stay! Thank you very much.

Off the beaten track, but...

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst in the area. Though it is situated off the beaten track it is only 15 minutes away from the beautiful villages of Domme and La Roque Gageac and 20 from Sarlat. Room was big and bed was big and comfortable. Jane's breakfast was the best we experienced during our travels and sets you up for the day.
