A belated review of a fabulous stay

My wife and I visited for a week last summer and I’ve only just realised that I hadn’t posted a not posted a review to say how much we loved Villa Caroline.
We stayed in a beautiful room on the second floor, with a balcony overlooking the lawn area and lake. The views were incredible and the facilities first class.
Breakfast was marvellous, with a tremendous selection of top quality options. I loved having local cured trout to start my day.
We ate several times at Lisca, and the food was fabulous.
We had an incredible stay and have recommended VC to all our friends.

Un immense merci à vous deux pour ce superbe retour, même tardif, sur la Villa Caroline ! C'est un réel bonheur de lire que votre séjour de l'été dernier à la Villa Caroline vous a laissé un souvenir aussi mémorable.
Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié le confort de votre chambre au deuxième étage et, bien sûr, cette vue incroyable sur le lac et nos jardins dont on ne se lasse pas. C'est également une grande fierté pour nos équipes de cuisine de voir que le petit-déjeuner ainsi que vos dîners au Lisca ont ravi vos papilles !
Un grand merci pour vos recommandations auprès de vos amis ! Nous serions enchantés de vous accueillir de nouveau pour une autre semaine fabuleuse au bord du lac d'Annecy.

So near to being perfect..

Excellent location, if planning by the local commoner allowed, trim the bull rushes at waters edge to open up the lake views, modern hotel, good rooms, very nice restaurant although menu quite small ( if staying a few days you’d be pushed to eat differently each night! ) food was very good, service excellent. All the staff were charming and helpful ( bar 1 who had no idea what a smile is!)
Small niggles, no hangers in the wardrobes, no fridge in the room,

Top hotel

All the staff were wonderful, kind, attentive, and always available, top.
Magnificent room, very clean and very spacious.
Relaxing garden. We had an excellent 7-day stay.

Sahildeep the main man - Upgrading Villa Caroline to a 5star rating

There was an excellent spirit in Sahildeep, who was the one who served us our drinks. Marvellous human with a professional attitude. Attention to details with a smile on his face, we could not asked better.

Lovely lakeside escape

Spent a week at Villa Caroline whilst visiting family in st Jorioz, room was great with a terrace onto the lakeside garden. Staff were lovely and most helpful, breakfast was nice and the food in the restaurant was very good
The shady garden was a godsend in the summer heat and direct access to the lake made cooling off a breeze
