Very nice discovery

Hotel perfectly placed on the slopes of Gourette. This hotel combines comfort and tradition. The hoteliers are kind and attentive and efficient. I recommend this hotel without any reservations where I stayed one night and enjoyed the restaurant and bar in the evening!

Great location and food customer service not great

The location of this hotel and food are great
We really struggled with some of the staff you were really quite rude to us
We spoke French to them and tried our best as we knew there was a language barrier but it felt at times they were unfriendly
Telling us we couldn’t move tables at dinner when we were cramped even though there were other tables available, our payment didn’t match the booking name as we were two families travelling we had all the information to prove this but felt check in was made very difficult for us and we were told we had not been charged a good enough price ? we asked if we could eat lunch at the high stools as there were no tables available and were told it depends what we wanted to eat !! In the end we felt unwelcome and it’s a shame as it’s such a lovely hotel and sone of the staff were so nice !! We had no hot water or heating as there was a storm this if not the hotels fault but not even a complimentary drink was offered to us
We didn’t €646 euros for a one night stay so it wasn’t cheap would have just been nice to have a bit more customer service

Excellent address!

Excellent hotel, perfect for our family weekend: the situation is perfect, the hotel is tastefully decorated, the homemade breakfast is delicious, half board is faultless, and the welcome both professional and warm. We will return without hesitation.

An enchanting stay

I enthusiastically add my satisfaction at the concert of well-deserved praise for this establishment. The hotel is ideally located at the foot of the slopes and lifts, it is very cozy , with a chalet style with mountain decoration. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Perfect cuisine for both hearty breakfast and evening dinner. But especially what distinguishes him is the kindness of the team at the command, you really feel like you are staying with friends more than in a hotel. And icing on the cake, the rates are very reasonable. Really a faultless one, I will gladly go back.

The Perfect Hotel in Gourette

We spent two nights at La Boule de Neige after hiking a tough section of the GR10 in bad weather. Isabelle Soule and her staff could not have been more welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony and stunning views. We ate all of our meals in the hotel's restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed them. The hotel itself has a lot of character and is ideally located right beside the main gondola base station. I should note that I have stayed in many small hotels, inns and gites along the GR10 trail, and I have not seen any that were finer than La Boule de Neige. Also, I speak only limited French, but Isabelle and her staff are quite fluent in English and Spanish. I hope to return to La Boule de Neige someday.
