Fantastic hotel and does what it says on the tin!

Having not stayed in a B&B before I was a little hesitant, but given the very reasonable day rate and it's proximity to the port and Deauville/Honfleur we booked in. For just over £43 per night you are not in the Savoy or the Hilton so the little things such as a kettle aren't included, however, you get an air conditioned room, free parking (when many of the competitors such as Ibis charge a daily rate), clean linen, etc. The room, granted, isn't huge, but it's practical with a desk, tv and comfy bed and shower room. we arrived when it just been a heat wave and the air con was brilliant. Reception was only open twice per day at certain hours but this was fine and when we extended our stay by another night, the lady at the hotel came to our room and issued us with a new entry code to access our room. I could not fault this hotel at all. We felt safe, it was clean and it did exactly what it said on the tin! i wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to others. My advice would be to not be put off initially, give it some credit, relax and go with it. once you relax the pre-conceptions of what a good hotel should look like you will start loving the B&B chain. No one needs to pay £200 per night a night for a bed just so you have a kettle, or some free soap in the shower. Give it a go. you'll be kicking yourself that you've spent so much money on lesser hotels!

Better to search instead of book.

The B&B is on a motorway. For a beautiful view, there shouldn't be here. We had a family room. But that was so small. The photos taken of the room are seriously magnified. The bathroom had a lot of mold and you couldn't sit straight on the toilet, it was so small. The breakfast was just pathetic. The eggs were thrown in a bowl in the microwave. To throw it in a pot like a mush! Terrible. There was no fresh fruit or anything healthy. The bread and croissant were tasty but the rest... well

To flee!!!

Luckily it's only a passing hotel... but there's a minimum! Frankly, to flee!
It's not clean. Dust and puffs everywhere.
Unbelievable noise, a broken toilet, a shower not clean, a wooden bed base, we slept very badly.
And the breakfast, to flee, unhygienic, all the dishes and trays are very dirty.
We'll only come once.

This location should not be recommended. The bathroom was in very bad condition. The AC would only blow warm air. I understand that in EU they often control the ac temp but this was blowing warm air. Not pleasant at all

The hotel is small and so was our room. There was no staff available onsite.
