Ok for a last minute booking

We booked a room at the last minute following a quick decision to cycle part of the Canal du Midi. We requested a 4pm check in through the app.
We were warmly greeted at this time and shown to our room, which had its own private seating area. Our host offered to store our bikes in the garage but we chained them on our terrace.
The room was clean and well appointed, with a large bathroom to the rear. There was plenty of hot water, very welcome after our long ride.
Breakfast was substantial, and fueled us for the next part of our ride. Our host also printed off our train tickets upon request.
The property is a short walk from the town, and whilst there is a large road at the bottom of the garden we were not disturbed by this.
Be aware that the host doesn't speak any English, but my basic french worked OK

Canal du midi holiday

Hostess was so rude. Even though we told her over and over we don’t speak French she continued to speak in French getting more and more irate when we don’t respond. House is not great but why pay to stay somewhere where you are not welcome.

Excellent

À notre arrivé nous avons étais très bien reçu par l'hôte qui a su nous mettre à l'aise. Notre chambre bulle était magnifique coconing..belle expérience à vivre . Sanitaire privatisé avec suffisamment d'espace avec tout en place tout à disposition serviettes gants de toilette gel douche etc..
Piscine à proximité pour se rafraîchir et pour prendre un peu de couleur .
Petit déjeuner complet, boisson chaude et froide pain croissant beurre confiture maison fruits vraiment je recommande c'est excellent .
Christine l'hôte très gentille agréable et très enviable et a l'écoute.
Merci encore pour l'accueil et le service.

Promesses non tenues

Nous sommes arrivés à 16h00 comme prévu, mais il n'y avait personne. Nous avons attendu 30mn après avoir appelé plusieurs fois le n° de mobile sans avoir de réponse. Nous avions réservé sur booking une chambre avec terrasse mais nous avons eu la chambre sous les toits ! La salle d'eau est minuscule, les wc dans la même pièce ne sont accessibles qu'en se contorsionnant pour passer sous une poutre et, derrière celle ci, le plafond est aussi très bas....Bref c'est inconfortable et dangereux. La route qui passe au fond du terrain est très passagère la chambre est donc bruyante. Heureusement, le petit déjeuner est convenable.
Malgré toutes ces déconvenues aucunes excuses de la part de la logeuse .....
La seule chambre d'hôte que nous n'avons pas aimé durant notre périple à vélo le long du canal du midi entre Toulouse et Sète.

Avons réservé par hôtel.com.Sommes arrivés sur place ,il n.y avait pas de chambre pour nous. La patronne nous a laissé sa chambre.Avons dû garder tout dans la valise. Wc hors de la chambre. Pas de clim.pas à recommander.Beaucoup de circulation .Bruyant
