You are more than welcome here!

It's getting annoying, but we just join in the praise of this hotel. With the Dutch owner Alke Staal also excellent communication in advance. Good package with an excellent culinary 3-course dinner almost every day, beautifully laid out and well explained by the fine, Dutch-speaking service. We have not used it but the hotel has a very extensive wine list. The other consumptions quite normal prices. The rooms are somewhat dated, no modern key card. Good plumbing, but that also gives my only minuses. In the shower no disposal option for washcloth or shampoo. No ventilation in the shower room so the windows in the room fog up. Doesn't seem nice in winter at all. Breakfast is extensively tasty bread and many local products or products from their own garden. Ample parking space. In the basement a sauna, TV room, billiards.
In short: this hotel makes you feel at home thanks to its very pleasant staff

What a shame.

Pleasant reception, very clean accommodation, well located, with a beautifully maintained outdoor area.
However, having ordered 2 hiker picnics for the next day, we found, at mealtime, 2 sandwiches that did not deserve their name; one was just a slice of ham rolled in bread (without butter or vegetables) and the other was 2 pieces of cheese placed between 2 slices of bread. All accompanied by a small apple and a small bottle of water. Given the hotel's standard and the price of the picnic, it seemed to us to be equivalent to... two slices of ham!
What a shame.

A gem in the French Alps - Portes du Soleil

This place has everything: a good location, a super nice garden, spatious rooms, the best kitchen in town, very friendly staff...
Whether you are there for skiing (La Panthiaz cable way is located 400 meters from the hotel) in winter or hiking in summer, Alke and his crew know the best locations and have tips for every level of experience (up to some crazy level sh*t). So whether you are looking for a relaxing, slow paced holiday or a thrill-seeking adrenalin filled vacation, this really is the place to be.

From 32 members of the family we give the Hotel and its staff an Excellent

During Christmas, we had the unique opportunity to take over the entire hotel with our small family. Thanks to Alke and his incredible team, we experienced a truly magical holiday. From the wine tasting to the enchanting evening walk, the BBQ in the snow, and seven wonderful dinners, every moment was an unexpected delight. These were the perfect icings on the cake. My entire family felt completely at home and left with fond and lasting memories of our stay in a snow-covered Esprit de Montagne.

We recommend!

We stayed 2 nights in high season with my partner and our child. Welcome to the top, the staff is friendly. The meals were excellent, address to recommend for a stay in the mountains in a friendly atmosphere. A state of mind really mountain
