An exceptional address not to be missed
First of all, the setting is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is both magical and warm, perfect for having a good time.
Then, the kitchen... a true delight! The plates are well-presented and the flavors are on point.
But what really makes the difference are the hosts. With incredible kindness and charm, they made us feel at ease immediately and created a friendly atmosphere.
In short: go there with your eyes closed, you will not be disappointed.

Disappointing
The menu was supposed to be supported by the setting to justify the price: THE castle - more on the courtyard side than the garden side! Disappointment.
General misunderstanding that was never addressed by the Chef (?). Not a word of apology.

Bad experience
Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations.
The aperitif was a bit light: the wine was served sparingly and the appetizers were a bit ordinary (chips…).
The contract mentioned a “market menu,” but the couscous that was served contained very few vegetables.
The choice to serve individually by the plate led to a long wait. Some members of the group kindly offered their help to speed up the service, which was accepted at first, then rejected.
During the service, it appeared that there was no meat left, even though 35 people had not been served.
No one came into the dining room to apologize and warn of a delay of at least 45 additional minutes to serve the missing plates.
Furthermore, we noted that some answers to our questions were phrased in a way that we perceived as a bit abrupt.
For example, when we were asked to indicate who had not been served, the response was “There is no need to raise your hand, I am not a taxi…”
Moreover, we were reminded that we were in a castle and not in a Lyonnais restaurant, and that “For 40 euros in Lyon, we would have just had a board to share,”….
Our group has been organizing trips or lunches in group accommodations or restaurants for many years, and we have always had good relationships with each of the establishments.
Despite these inconveniences, which tested the usual good mood of the walkers, we had a good time and hope to have the pleasure of a more positive experience one day.
