This was a truly special experience, to stay right on the square, opposite the incredible cathedral, in the centre of the stunning and very peaceful hilltop town of Laon. We were lucky enough to visit during the summer light show and watched it from our balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the apartment was amazing - huge and really well equipped and comfortable. Brilliant to have the local parking, which is in a spacious, gated outdoor area not far from the hotel (we were a bit worried about parking, and it turned out we needn't have been at all). Highly recommend the breakfast, and the restaurant for dinner, which was also amazing!

The best start to our holiday - food and lovely hotel

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. OMG - just fab. Really comfortable beds, living room and one bedroom overlook the cathedral. We were treated to the Son et Lumieres that happens every August and watched from the balcony.
And we had a delicious meal in the restaurant. Excellent steak and pork chop. Very delicious wine.
The owner?/staff were delightful. We parked very close to the cathedral in the blue disc parking and we were kindly given a blue disc (3€) for the car.
We could not have asked for a more wonderful start to our holiday and only 2h15 from the channel
Thank you - we will return.

An impressive front of house team

We had a meal with our large group of choir members. We were hugely impressed by the efficiency of staff serving us. The food was delicious.we particularly enjoyed the prawn salad either a touch of gibger

A good address right by the cathedral.

Despite the location directly opposite the cathedral, we experienced a quiet night. Overall, the establishment makes a clean impression and is highly recommended.

Excellent location with outlook overlooking the cathedral & square. Excellent dinner in the restaurant, recommend to book as it gets busy at the weekend. Limited option of secure hotel parking available but lots of free parking available around the city. Clean & spacious room with some traditional features, and despite no air conditioning in room, staff made every effort to cool room with fans during heatwave.
All staff really helpful & friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel if looking to stay in Laon, great location, central to cathedral, shops and amazing view points overlooking the vast French landscape from its hilltop position. Excellent food served in the hotel restaurant. The city is very picturesque, with lots of historical interest.
