City centre location with limited parking. Not secure parking. Lots of stairs as hotel built on a hillside. Lovely park nearby. Kettle and mugs. Nice big shower. Comfy beds. Pet friendly.Nice bar and restaurant. Air-conditioning not very effective.

Tour de Limousin

Management unfriendly and arrogant.
Beds not made up for 5 days and trash cans not emptied.
Staying here during the Tour de Limousin.
Food is not great, breakfast is basic, fruit juices and smoothies are not freshly made (smoothies are not to drink (too sugary)).
Just to avoid the unkindness

Simple hotel for a single night. Restaurant to avoid.

OK for a single night. 2nd time in a Campanile hotel (the first time was in Toulouse the day before). Relatively small room but acceptable for a single night.
We arrived around 5:30 PM and the room was not yet ready.
The manager sold us well on the restaurant for the evening and recommended it, telling us that everything was homemade. Neither the dishes nor the desserts were good. It was on the level of a middle school cafeteria. So rather disappointed.
So we did not want to repeat the experience by trying breakfast, and in any case, we had to leave very early.
I know perfectly well that Campanile hotels are far from being 5-star, but we will not repeat the experience.
Poor quality bedding. The whole thing was relatively clean all the same.

Avoid at all costs

Catastrophic experience with a room turned into a hothouse with an A/C that produces heat, a boiling floor, and no compassion from the staff, unacceptable

Small downside: very insufficient lighting in the bathroom

Very nice welcome filled with kindness from Cédric, who does everything possible to satisfy you.
Very good 3-night stay at this establishment.
