Little paradise!!!
We were definitively positively surprised on arrival! Really well maintained with a clear personal touch of Fabrice. This makes it a really unique B&B! The only thing you have to do is relax and enjoy: f.e. "you can never be too late for breakfast" , so Fabrice served us breakfast at noon. He was also very comprehensive as we had to leave early due to unforseen circumstances.
The only thing that was not ideal for us, were the 3 cats and 2 dogs. Not that we don't liked them (they were very beautiful and sweet), but we are allergic to dogs and cats. This is a lesson for us to check more carefully in advance if there are animals in a B&B

Thank you for the compliments! I just wanted to clarify something about our small animal friends : dogs are not Doberman but Chihuahuas that are mostly in the house on a cushion in the summer and often in a kennel adjacent to the house, our cats are free on 15000 m2 of space. It is certain that when one is allergic it is better not to take them on one's knees lol. We also point out, as indicated clearly on our site, that we accept pets of our guests.

What a find!
Beautiful place where a lot of care and attention to detail is evident all over... Nicely landscaped park and pool, super rooms, excellent breakfasts with lots of home cooked food by the hosts. We also enjoyed a marvellous soiree des hotes, with food and flowing wine. We didn't realize there would be facilities to prepare our own meals too so this was a bonus, with fridge and kitchen provided. We would definitely recommend to our gay friends...

Paradise in France
This place is wonderful! It fulfilled 100% our requirements. We had the Hollywood-room including breakfast.
It is well situated to visit the Landes, Arcachon, Biarritz & San Sebastian, and is at 15min drive from the beach or 40min drive from a great Gay-beach called Les Casernes.
The room is perfect, nicely decorated, has a shower & radio. On daily basis the rooms are cleaned and the beds are made, which offers the pleasure of always having a nice, clean room.
The garden is well maintained and beautiful.
The pool area is nice, offering a great pool (where you can really swim lengths) & comfortable sun beds. A Jacuzzi is also available.
An outside kitchen is available to the guests, including all material you need + has a large shared fridge. All options are possible from going to a restaurant to cooking alone or cooking together with the other guests, which creates a fantastic social atmosphere. -or-
Once or twice a week the owners organise a “table d’haute”, where they prepare a complete dinner from apero to desert, which you can attend, if desired. Our congratulations for the cooks, creating a high quality dinner.
About the breakfast: nice, fresh and good.
Last but not least, the owners: They are very nice, very friendly and helpful! Nothing escapes their attention. They were very helpful to accommodate us 2 days earlier than expected.
Conclusion: Moulin de Lassalle is a great place that is worth the voyage. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful, peaceful and secluded special place for men
Let's get this point clear, right up front. This is a "gay male only" guesthouse. That said, it was one of the most charming, peaceful and well-tended places in which we've ever stayed. The hosts have made it a virtual "chambre en jardin" with beautifully appointed rooms that open onto lovingly landscaped gardens, and one of the most beautiful pool settings we've experienced. In good weather, breakfast is served pool-side.
While not very close to any urban setting, Le Moulin is about 14 km from beautiful Atlantic beaches and some excellent "country" restaurants.
Fabrice and Samuel are excellent hosts, friendly, without being intrusive. They maintain this property, the grounds, pool and guestrooms impeccably.
We came for three nights only, just before the real start of the summer holidays and there was only one other couple in addition to us. So, the setting was quiet and relaxing during our stay.
We'd point out it's a rural setting. Bayonne is a long drive south. So if you're looking for bars and nightlife, I'm not sure you'll be totally pleased with this venue. Landes is pretty, but not strikingly so. This is a place for rest and relaxation, in our opinion. Beaches are the major nearby attraction.
Also the hosts speak limited English, but with our broken French, we never had a problem communicating. They made us feel at home, without being familiar. On our last evening, the two of them, another couple staying at Le Moulin and we all went out together to a local restaurant for dinner. A nice touch to complete our three lovely days at Le Moulin.

Un univers exceptionnel et inoubliable
Pour notre première fois au moulin de Lassalle nous en repartons avec des souvenirs pleins les yeux. Le moulin est un paradis sur terre. Il vous offre une parenthèse enchantée où tout est fait pour que vous vous sentiez comme à la maison. Merci infiniment à Fabrice et Vincent pour leur accueil chaleureux et authentique. Vous avez su créer un univers inédit et hors du temps qui nous a fait voyager. Merci pour le très bon dîner d’hôtes qui nous a permis de connaître tous les autres guets dès notre arrivée et pouvoir ainsi savourer un moment de convivialité très sympathique. Merci à Marie pierre pour ces gâteaux servis au petit déjeuner. Un délice.
Si nous avons le temps c’est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons vous voir pour profiter encore plus de ce moulin extraordinaire. Fabrice et Vincent ne changez rien. Vous êtes au top ! Merci pour ces moments partagés ensemble.
