A step to recommend.

Manor nestled in the heart of nature. Very warm welcome from the owner couple. Bedding and cleanliness are impeccable. Very beautiful bathrooms. Delicious and refined breakfast.

Simply the best.

Stayed in this magnificent place for just one night after a three week tour of France and Spain, and quite simply we were blown away by it. In a word - it was extraordinary. When we arrived we had a swim in the lovely pool and then had aperitifs in the garden with our lovely hosts from Belgium Karol and Martina. This was followed up by an amazing dinner prepared by Karol - a starter of smoked duck, followed by delicious veal and finally a chocolate desert to die for. Plenty of good local wine was included - white, rose and red. A great nights sleep for all in the beautiful bedrooms. But after all that we were then treated to a breakfast like no other! Fresh bread, eggs cooked to order, cold meats, pate and lots of coffee. Wish we could have stayed for longer. Simply the best stay anywhere for years. Can’t wait to return! Amazing! Could not recommend this place enough.

Wonderful

Spacious room, well decorated, high ceilings, fabulous bed, PERFECT bathroom, outstanding breakfast and wonderful hosts-- all in a beautiful setting. I can't recommend this place enough. A great manor. We loved it.

Lovely place and wonderful hosts

My wife and I spent three nights at this lovely manoir in Merles. It was spotlessly clean and really well maintained. Our bedroom was spacious, bright and extremely comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic – one of the biggest and best equipped we’ve ever seen. Martine and Karel the owners are delightful. They were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was a veritable feast and the evening meal we had with them was great. Sitting in the beautiful sitting room or dining room in front of the log fire was a joy. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Wonderful

We stayed middle of July in room "Kir". The room is excellent ( with airco), and modern bathroom. The breakfast is an experience in itself. It is luscious with a very wide choice of food! The dinner is also wonderful. But what makes "Manoir Larcouillet" so special is the joviality of Karel and Martine. They are wonderful hosts that take care of their guests with heart and soul. Clearly a place where we will return.
