Lovely.

It is a simple but friendly establishment: the rooms and sanitary facilities are recent, the breakfast (served in a room full of photos from all eras) is very hearty (sweet AND savoury at will) and the welcome is just adorable. An unbeatable value for money.

Disappointment of the room on the 1st floor last year to the room on the 2nd this year.

We renewed our stay at the Hotel Les Mouflons because we stayed in this establishment last year: cozy room, nice, clean, clean and renovated bathroom; beautiful environment: as shown in the photo on the site.
Very happy, we chose to stay there this year; unfortunately with disappointment: on the 2nd floor, dark, damp room; clean bathroom but? to renovate.
It is with great Regret because we loved the atmosphere of this Hotel.

They don't have a restaurant. Tough to find one.

We were received by a lovely lady. But great disappointment for the far too narrow bathroom which was provided with a Sanibroyeur. Decent breakfast.

To flee

Small stay of 4 nights from Thursday 26/12/24 to 30/12/24. Pleasant welcome from the receptionist. However, as far as the services that can be expected from a hotel service are concerned, we are a long way from doing so. Our room was not made .... no change of towels, no bed made, unemptied garbage, floor not vacuum. And in order to fill the all apparitions of mold on the underside of the window, in the corners, condensation that literally pours water on the walls, we were forced to put a towel on the ground to mop up the water!!!
I would like to thank the receptionist who reacted as best he could. He provided us with clean towels, clean sheets (we remade our bed because he was alone!!), empty the garbage, and sweep away. Moreover, we wish him good luck for the season.
His employer the owner, who also owns a restaurant, does not take care of his hotel at all. A big shortage of staff.

Guest of this hotel since the 1970s, it has changed hands several times in recent years. As usual we booked to finish the year 2024, but the flu thwarted our plans, we stayed the first night and had to give up the second.
At the reception, we proposed that we be kept one night in reserve for a next weekend, we were first told yes and then a call from the hotel the next day, tells us that no and to make an email to the manager, done on our return, the hotel never responded to our request, we had not asked for a refund, just a postponement for a next weekend. For us, the Mouflons adventure will end there definitively, playing dead and not responding is a form of undisguised cowardice! There are lots of good Hotels in Mont-Dore!!
At Le Mouflon the customer is not King!!!
