Good place for a visit to Montpellier

Stayed 2 nights in the appart hotel. Good location in the quiet city district of Antigone, very close to restaurants, bakery, supermarket and the big Polygone shoppingcomplex. It is about 1,3 km to Gare St Roch. if you like walking, you can visit all attractions of Montpellier on foot. Our studio with kitchenette had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. We did not cook, just eat breakfast in the studio. Friendly reception. 24h free coffee and tea, and fresh water. Nice garden with sun terrace, some loungers and garden furniture. Recommended.

Disgusting...

Room completely in need of renovation and very dirty. Never seen a Citadines residence like this. Sticky floor, dirt marks everywhere...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced.
The room was nothing like the photos on the booking website. It was extremely worn, with numerous marks, dents, and poorly patched damage to the walls and doors. The flooring was heavily worn, and the room itself was exceptionally small, dark, cramped, and uncomfortable, with barely enough space for luggage. I spent as little time there as possible.
The bathroom was not properly cleaned. Upon arrival, I found the toilet brush sitting inside the toilet bowl, which immediately raised concerns about hygiene standards.
Breakfast was also disappointing, with a very limited selection that did not justify the price.
Most frustrating was the hotel’s response. I contacted them immediately after check-in to raise my concerns, but they refused any refund or compensation for the remaining four-night stay. Hotels.com also contacted the hotel on my behalf, but no refund, cancellation, or goodwill gesture was offered.
The experience affected my trip so much that I changed my travel plans and flew home a day early rather than spend another night in the room.
Due to an event taking place in the city, hotel occupancy was high. Accommodation was nowhere near worth that amount. In my opinion, the hotel is misleadingly advertised, as the photos do not accurately reflect the condition or quality of the rooms.
I cannot recommend this hotel and would advise prospective guests t refun.

The hotel is tiered but clean. Kitchen is very basic so we ate out every night. The town if Montpellier is so good as long as you have a place to lay your head all is good.

Old hotel.
Bad smell coming out from other rooms.
Noise from tram.
Location was perfect.
