Eco-friendly, gentle and cosy hotel

I stayed here and there in Paris, but the island of Saint-Louis had been on my mind for some time. This hotel in the heart of it was a pleasant place.
The lady at the front desk is very nice and kind. The rooms are classical in a good way, not big but pretty. I'm relieved. On the other hand, they had everything they needed except a refrigerator (coffee machine, water heater, TV, safe, bathroom towel dryer, etc.).
It was smooth and easy to use, although it was often inconvenient for Japanese to have a bathroom integrated with the toilet normally found in Europe. I was especially impressed by the lack of smoothness of the large enough bathtub.
Breakfast is served on the menu, not buffet. Coffee, bread, jam, juice, dairy, eggs… each with a gentle taste centered on natural foods sourced from shops on the island of Saint-Louis.
The lounge on the ground floor also offers afternoon tea (plus homemade cakes). I missed an opportunity this time, but I'd love to try it next time.

My second time staying there. Lovely people working. I was even given a free metro card as another guest had left it behind in reception after they had not used up their balance. Highly recommend

Lovely gem on the Ile St. Louis

First of all, we stayed here during the heat wave when the temps were above 100 degrees and the AC at the hotel was fabulous - we slept comfortably every night. We had the “exquise” room which I believe is one of the larger ones - beautifully decorated and well appointed, very small bathroom typical of Paris. This is a special location on Ile St. Louis which we enjoyed as it is a side of Paris we haven’t experienced but for first timers it may feel too far from the main sights.
I must also say I left some things behind in the hotel room and when we called the hotel was so gracious and set the items aside for us. Very kind staff.

This is a pretty average hotel. The location was great, though a little hard to get to by taxi. The staff was terrific and very attentive.

Great location for a Paris get-away

We had a lovely stay at Hotel des 2 Isles. It is a wonderful location for both walking and taking the Metro. The breakfast was delicious with delightful service. The rooms, as other reviewers have noted, are small, but you’re in Paris…why are you in your room? I like the fact that the bed was large even though that made the space around it snug. The staff was helpful and kind about my school girl Friench. Perfect pied-a-terre for a Parisian holiday.
