An excellent stay
Courteous and very professional reception.
Friendly, available, and attentive staff.
I was fortunate to be upgraded for free, which is always appreciated.
Calm, comfortable, functional, and very clean room
The air conditioning works perfectly
The room has a small fridge, which is very convenient during a heatwave, as well as a capsule coffee machine.
The breakfast is very decent.
Very convenient location surrounded by shops and right next to the subway in a very lively and friendly neighborhood.
Friendly, available, and attentive staff.

Decent price and area
Overall, good place and area to stay. Lots of restaurants, bakeries and shops in close walking distance. The only issue is the noise of the road, we were on the 8th floor at the front and emergency sirens were constantly gping past together with general people/car noise. Be aware there is a nightclub and large bars just around the corner. It's very clean, comfortable and most of the staff were helpful except the night porter. Nice walk by the canal and Metro around the corner.

Very good
Very nice hotel. Impeccable cleanliness, new room, very comfortable bedding, pretty and functional bathroom, perfect breakfast.

Fantastic stay during heatwave – Absolutely recommended!
At the end of May we stayed at Libertel Canal Saint-Martin during a period with code yellow because of the extreme heat in Paris. The hotel has made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The care for the guests during these hot days was top notch: the rooms were wonderfully cool thanks to the well-functioning air conditioning and cold drinking water was available at the reception at all times of the day.
The customer friendliness of the staff really stood out, especially Shaya from the front desk. The cleaning was also perfect: beds were made daily and sheets and towels were changed very regularly. For all employees: thanks for the excellent service
The location is an ideal base to explore Paris. The hotel is within walking distance of Gare du Nord, with a bus stop and metro station almost on your doorstep. In the immediate vicinity you will find plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, a green rest area around the fountain of Georges Jeanclos and the bustling surroundings of the Bassin de la Villette.
Point of interest for the hotel: Unfortunately, it remains unclear at the time of booking whether you will get two single beds or a double bed. We only got clarity about this at check-in. It would be a good tip to offer two single beds as an option (or possibly paid upgrade) during the online booking process.
