Located in the heart of the 8th district of Paris, in Faubourg Saint-Honoré and tucked away on a quiet street close to the fashion and business centre of the capital, the Hotel du Ministère has a contemporary decor and features an art collection.

My stay in Paris.
During a stay last week in Paris with a friend, I discovered the hotel of the ministry. I was a bit worried upon arrival because the hotel was under renovation, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that an entire building had been completely renovated and quite nicely. However, there is still a lack of a shelf in the bathroom; we did not know where to put all our things, but overall the room was very nice with a range of vegan cosmetic products that I love. Decent breakfast, although expensive. The barista is very nice. However, I was a bit surprised by the "welcome"; the reception area is quite small, and a bald gentleman, the receptionist I believe, did not even bother to stand up when I came to speak to him. I had to look for him; he was in the room seated and busy on his phone. Disappointing for a hotel of this standard and in this neighborhood. We know it's Paris, but still!

A perfect experience in the heart of the 8th!
An exceptional establishment, quiet, ideally located, which we highly recommend.
The first point to praise is the very high quality of the welcome. Everything is done so that you can experience your stay optimally, and all the staff we met showed immense professionalism with singular thoughtfulness. This is a major point to note, because unfortunately it is becoming increasingly rare!
We had a superb Duplex suite for 4, very functional, perfectly laid out with all the expected comfort.
The cleanliness was impeccable, as were the amenities.
We knew the old establishment, but the recent renovations have helped to beautify the place and make it brighter.
A very big thank you to everyone we met who made for a stay that was certainly brief, but perfect!
Looking forward to seeing you again…

Very disappointing experience.
Very disappointing experience.
The hotel photos online are misleading. We booked a €5,400 suite, but the room was dirty, had hair, insects on the bed, a bad smell, and very poor hygiene. The suite had very long and steep internal staircases, which felt unsafe, and upon reaching the room there was another long staircase leading to the living area. None of this was mentioned online.
When we complained and requested a refund, the staff were unprofessional and aggressive, refused the refund, and asked us to leave. Booking.com suggested another hotel 30 minutes away from Paris, which is unacceptable for a city vacation.
The hotel does not match its online presentation.
Not recommended.

More than 5 stars
If there were more than 5 stars, I would have given it a higher rating. We had an unforgettable family stay with our children. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was attentive to our needs. The children were particularly pampered and loved all the little attentions directed towards them, including the little slippers provided for them.
We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious, luxurious, and perfectly equipped apartment, worthy of a 5-star hotel. Everything was designed for the comfort of families.
At first, I was worried because it was noted in the reservation that there were construction works nearby, but seriously, I didn't notice anything. The beds felt incredibly comfortable. The rooftop is beautiful, and the kitchen made it easy for us to prepare bottles and snacks for the children.
A big thank you to the entire team: receptionists, porters, floor staff, and housekeepers. Everyone demonstrated professionalism with exceptional kindness.
After several stays in different 4 and 5-star hotels in Paris, I can say that this experience is truly unique. The level of service, attention to detail, and quality of the welcome are simply exceptional.
I recommend the hotel without hesitation: perfect location, exceptional service and space. Kudos to the entire team.

Recevoir une famille et faire en sorte que les enfants se sentent aussi privilégiés que les parents, c'est exactement l'esprit qu'on essaie de cultiver ici, donc savoir que les petites attentions ont été remarquées (et appréciées !) nous fait vraiment plaisir.
Je suis ravi que le surclassement vous ait permis de profiter pleinement de votre séjour, et rassuré de lire que les travaux n'ont pas du tout impacté votre confort, c'est précisément l'objectif qu'on se fixe pendant cette période de rénovation.

The room was very clean. Although the space was very small, everything was well organised and well equipped. The location of the hotel is brilliant for activities in the centre of Paris. Staff at reception was very friendly.
