Calm, cool and thoughtfully designed.

Friendly, clean, comfy beds, big lockers and I loved the rooftop terrace. Only downer would be women in the women's dorm who insist using the shower hair dryer repeatedly after midnight. The dryer itself dangles down into the very little sink space to put your toiletries causing me knock it off its cradle. A number of us in the 6 bed dorm felt the towel bars on the shower radiator were also a catching point upon exiting. I would definately stay here again and appreciated that it is not a party hostel and is located in a quiet but accessable part of Paris. Merci!

Stay at The People Hostel Paris Bercy

Superb hostel service with excellent value for money. Very easy to access and close to public transport.
The must: the shared kitchen and the vegetable garden area on the rooftop. A magnificent setting!

Quiet and clean

Lovely hostel. Clean, everything you need in your bunk/pod. Only thing that knocks a star off is the terrace closing at 10pm and the Patio closing at 11pm. My pipe smoking sesh was interrupted being asked to go inside for no apparent reason. Otherwise very comfortable.

Recommended

When you are travelling solo the first thing i consider is safety convenience and cleanliness. My rate is 10/10 for my top 3 priorities . the place is very close to Auchan ,monoprix, bakery, restaurants and caffe Bar. In front during weekdays there is a market so you can still feel at home to get your food. metro line 6 is very close like 5 mins walk.. which is connceted to all the major tourist spot so no need to worry even you go home late. The BED are very comfortable you have a locker near your bed. The staff anlre kind and accomodating. The only thing missing are the towels

My weekend

The hotel is very good, close to everything, bus and subway stops, it is well located, there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
The service is excellent, the rooms are clean and well organized, and the staff is very attentive, the only problem is that they do not provide towels, you have to bring your own!
Everything else is perfect, including the price!
