Fantastic stay, Great Location and Air Conditioning Lush!

A fantastic stay at the Timhotel Gare De L'est. Great location, just 10 minute easy walk from the Eurostar Terminal, Gare Du Nord. Easy to get around using the Gare De L'est metro. Hotel was spotless and rooms decorated to a high standard, super comfy bed. The best bit was the air conditioning, when it was 35 degrees outside it was bliss walking it a cold room. Staff friendly. We didn't have breakfast, as preferred to do a Formula Breakfast in one if the Bistros for 8 Euros. We ate in some of the Bistros/Brasseries near the hotel, great value for money and quality food, as opposed to the tourist traps. Also felt safe in the neighborhood and we stayed when Paris Staint Germaine vs Arsenal match was on. Would 100% stay here again.

No Air Con

If you want air con check your room you are given first. I have just spent the night in an oven as my room - old school French hotel type - tiny, at the top of treacherous staircase and boiling hot - looks like it has air con but it doesn’t. I expect the thermostat is fake. The room is about 32C at 7.30 am. Not a fun night.

Small bathroom and the drain was blocked.
We hear others customers next to us and the bed was hard and not confortable
Small hall, not a warm welcome.

Welcoming and accommodating staffs. Room and hotel condition are decent. Never had any issues. The only missing part was a minibar. I think any hotel room needs a mini bar to keep food items, drinks etc.

Timhotel Paris Gare de l'Est

Convenietly situated for both Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord. we will undoubtedly stay at this hotel again if travelling through Paris. We recommend it.
