Excellent experience in a warm, welcoming, beautiful and sterling service, boutique hotel el.

Wonderful hotel, centrally located. Superlative service from the staff including Diana, Kevin, Lucas, Julie and others. No hotel has offered better personal service than this one. Lovely rooms, delicious breakfast- very comfortable beds, very clean and quiet. Highest recommendation for hotel in Pau.

Classic and appealing

Excellent welcome and service at breakfast. The classic feeling of a french city hotel is the ambiance. Our room (301) had a large comfortable sofa and a lovely bathroom with a large marble shower and double sinks. The air conditioning worked well and wasn’t noisy. Breakfast was super pleasant . They prepared decaf for us. There was fresh fruit . Basically an expanded continental breakfast in a pretty room.

A hidden boutique hotel !

In the centre of Pau, a boutique hotel , with a very professional service . Our bedroom was decorated to a very high standard ! The decoration in the bedroom was like staying in a castle. Breakfast was of high quality also !there is a restaurant, however we didn't have time to eat there . Highly revythis beautiful hotel !

Excellent value for money. Ideally located in the city center and offering high quality services. Recommended.

They are very proud of the fact that this an old hotel, but antiques in the room don't matter if the bed isn't very comfortable. The continental breakfast was passable, but the atmosphere reminded me of a funeral parlor, very subdued. What I found most annoying was that the parking gate is locked at 10:00 pm and there is no staff on duty until 7:00 am. We parked in the street and used a pin # to get into the hotel. We hadn't planned to return late, but apparently we wasted too much time enjoying our after dinner cafe and underestimated the 1 1/2 hour drive from the Pyrenee's. We arrived at 10:07 pm.
Had I known all this, I wouldn't have chosen the Bristol.
