Parfait !

Very pleasant stay at Prechac-Park. Beautiful bourgeois house in the middle of a superb park with large tree and a swimming pool in the heart of a charming village. Warm welcome from the master of the place. Dinner with well-chosen local products and wines in a friendly and joyful atmosphere. Big bright bedroom tastefully decorated. Original and well-equipped bathroom. Renowned vineyard tour nearby.

Dear Anne,
You are misleading other users by pointing "selective amnesia" to my review.
1. You announced your decision to cancel your 2nd night at breakfast that 2nd morning: No, I announced this cancellation on the day we arrived even it was BEFORE the check-in.
2. You seem to forget that I even took the trouble to book it for you as you do not speak French: Is your husband. Australian? How come you use the excuse that it was a sort of miscommunication because I couldn't speak French? Your husband was perfect native English.
3. For that I charged you a mere 20€: Nope, we paid €40
That's it. Nonetheless of my further explanation, this place is super isolated and not attractive.

(terrible location) located in a very depressing town with unpleasant hosts

1. Located in the very remote and isolated from anywhere. (in the middle of nowhere)
2. Located in a depressing and unpleasant village, Prechac. Nothing to do, eat or drink.
3. This B&B is located right next to car road: no serenity or tranquillity
Most of all, this B&B is really isolated and in the middle of nowhere than we expected. Prechac Park sits next to a car road, which you can hear the noise of car driving. (surprisingly many cars are passing by). I was expecting to listen to the relaxing leaves rumbling and wake up to the bird's singing, but unfortunately, this b&b doesn't offer anything to me.The town is really not friendly and quite depressing to be around.

From now on, these are my personal experience.
The B&B and the room themselves are good (if you just need a place to SLEEP), but I gave "1 start" as being a terrible place to stay.
Before we book this place for 2 nights on the phone, the owner told us there are things to do such as cycling to Vineyards nearby and try some wine tasting. He said he can come to the train station to pick us up, but he was busy with hosting people, so asked us to get on a taxi which costing "60 EURO".
But we just wanted to chill and stay with a feeling of peace in our mind, so we made the way to this 'Prechac Park'.
After we checked in, the owner said the closest Vinyard is about 15km away. Of course, we won't cycle the hills for 1&1/2 hours (one-way trip) at 32C temperature in the summer. Then the host guy offered he can give a session of wine tasting (not for free!)  Not only being isolated from any beautiful things to do, but also this house is not a place for relaxing with tranquillity.
So we realised this place is noisy and nothing to do around, no nice restaurant or cafe, so we wanted to stay only 1 night and leave.  Even when I arrived I told the host that we are only staying for 1 night ***before we do check-in!***
+ check-in : Even the room wasn't ready till 5:20pm because the owner couple was hosting their friends and had to finish their lunch and we waited for the room ready for more than 1 hour.
So when we did the check-in, I confirmed that we are going to stay only 1 night, not 2 nights.
Long story short, they charged 220 euro (including a ride back to the station)  for one night. We paid all when we check-out.
In the end, we were just naive travellers who just trusted this host and fooled and deceived by their lies. (about what we can do and experience in Prechac.the huge distance from anywhere)
We stayed here a few months ago, but it has been so difficult and so stressed and sad for me to write and remind of the experience in Prechac Park.
I do understand this Prechac Park is located in the isolated, not attractive place. So they would try and do their best and doing marketing for this place. (this place has quite good scores on booking.com. ) We didn't book through booking.com so they knew that we are not going to do anything regarding this unfair treats and ripping off. (including taxi to Prechac Park, we paid 280 euro for 1-night stay here) 
On the day we stayed, there was a town festival with terrible music making noise till after midnight, but the host said there is a "cool party going on" haha... I have a lot to tell more, but won't. just want to forget.
Despite of this experience in Prechac Park, we will continue to believe nice local people and nice hosts we meet on the road and travelling as we love travelling. We also believe in "Karma".
Perhaps the owner of Prechac Park would need 220 Euro more than us. 220 euro is fine though, it's a shame that we had the depressing memory in Prechac Park. I wish I can forget this place sooner than later.  We luckily had quite lovely and great memories in upper Bordeaux regions and Medoc area after Prechac Park.

I regret your unpleasant experience at Préchac Park. However, you appear to suffer from selective amnesia in your account. When you arrived in Bordeaux you realized your boyfriend had forgotten his driver’s licence in the UK and was therefore unable to hire the car you had booked. All your difficulties follow on from that. Including the obvious atmosphere of a “lover’s tiff” between the two of you. You had booked for 2 nights which would have given you ample time to visit and sample the treasures of our region. From Bordeaux you made your way to Langon by TER train. But there is no public transport available AND we were occupied with entertaining guests, not friends as you suggest. Your only solution was a taxi. You seem to forget that I even took the trouble to book it for you as you do not speak French. You announced your decision to cancel your 2nd night at breakfast that 2nd morning, leaving us with a vacant room to let in under 12 hours. Obviously we charged you the 2nd night. And since you did not want to order a taxi once again, the only solution was for me to drive you to Langon station, a round trip of over 40 km, 1 hour of my precious time. For that I charged you a mere 20€, only 1/3rd of the taxi fare. I am sorely disappointed at your review. But, thos of our other clients very obviously put yours into focus.

Superb evening in a magic Préchac Park

Warm, friendly and magic settings near Sauternes wine. I arrived after a long drive in the heat and found the pool to be an incredible cure for my aching legs. The hospitality, food and conversations are akin to the beauty of the house and rooms.

Prechac Park, a hidden gem

Anne and Allan were the perfect hosts and could not do more to make our stay special.
The house is fantastic and the bedroom was very spacious and comfortable.The style of the decor is very nicely done. The gardens are large and relaxing . A nice drink by the Pool was very welcome. The breakfast was very nice with homemade jams and marmalades.
A perfect place to spend a relaxing time either as abase for visiting or just to simply chill out. It was a shame that we could not stay longer. We look forward to staying again in the future . Many thanks .
