Simple, good value accommodation in the center of town

My wife and I spent a night in a simple, clean and quite comfortable room with a good bathroom (tiny shower but perfect water pressure).
At this price range, I'd say that the Charleston does a pretty good job (a boiler would be really nice though).
Easy check-in (without seeing anyone - which I guess is OK during COVID times).
The location is perfect, close to the "old city" and parking proved to be very easy.
All in all, a good value choice for an overnight stay (and probably longer stays once restaurants are open again!).

clean and good value

Not masses to say really . . . yes, clean and good value; situated close to the Rodez old center; devoid of any 'charm' but that seems to be the general requirement these days, at least in average French hotels - recently painted out, sensible hotel furniture, good shower. Maybe a couple of framed black and white photos of the old city? to decorate would be nice . . .

Cheap and basic but clean and pleasant.

I just wanted a cheap and cheerful few days away on my own and chose this place. One of the cheapest in town but in a great location. It is very basic but looks fairly recently modernised i.e. the bathroom fittings were nice and new which is always a relief. It was a very relaxed experience in that checking in consisted of the owner flicking through a lever arch and then handing me the key - no deposits or any credit card hassle - all quite old fashioned, in a good way. The owner gave me a free espresso when waiting my early morning taxi to the airport which was a thoughtful and genuine gesture. Not somewhere to go for a romantic luxury getaway to impress someone but if you want to take a stroll round Rodez old town and have clean, basic room to stay in it's grand.

Hotel bien situé.

L'hôtel le Charleston, est bien situé, proche du centre ville. Facilité pour se garer. De plus cet hôtel fait aussi restaurant. C'est assez calme. Le personnel est sympathique.
De par sa proximité du centre, la cathédrale de rodez est magnifique à voir, nous avons aussi visiter le musée Fenaille, c'est un musée archéologique.

nous avons déjeuner en terrasse avec un beau soleil !
