Breathtaking

Very lovely stay. We arrived at 10pm and the friendly host still prepared the jacuzzi for us, which was magnificent. Hot water, a fresh breeze and only the starlight above us and the cost of Cote d'Azur in front of us. Breakfast on the terrace with a breathtaking view. All in all, it was a perfect stay.

A real gem

Spent a wonderful week at Mer du Mer as a base for the Côte d'Azur. The property is first class and Johan and Natasha are excellent hosts. Our room was perfect for our needs (private, quiet and with all facilities) and we enjoyed lovely breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the sea.

Fabulous

Can't find fault with this place. Can only echo others comments regarding the wonderful views, the great rooms and the good breakfast.
We only stayed one night but would definitely like to come again for a longer stay.

Small and cozy family owned hotel,the view worth a million.

This is a super place to stay for the reasonable price, very small and cozy family owned hotel,the view worth a million.The room and all hotel decoration in Provence style- looking awesome, decoration and furniture are not depreciated and obsolete. Very nicely landscaped and private yard with pool.Very clean inside hotel and in the yard around.
Rich breakfast.
The picture view is worth a million.

Loved this place!

This was a FABULOUS place to stay and I would highly recommend it! From the view... to the pool and patio... to the amazing breakfasts....everything was lovely, including the hostess, Natacha--very gracious, kind owners, as well as their lovely daughter. We loved being able to eat breakfast outside on the deck overlooking the ocean. The breakfasts were delicious and bountiful--yogurts, cheeses, meats, fruit, pastries, eggs to order, etc. We even took pictures of the food and view, they were so nice. It was maybe a 5 minute drive to a little town w/ many restaurants. I took a walk one morning on the bicycle path that led into some nice neighborhoods up in the hills. All wonderful.
The only thing i was disappointed with is the extra charges for coffee/tea and jacuzzi. This is not customary in the US or Italy (at least the 3 places we stayed this trip) and this was the first inn/B & B out of hundreds I've ever been to that charged for these (of those that offer self-serve coffee/tea 24/7 -- a Hyatt or Hilton Hotel would charge too but it would be served in a restaurant so that is different). Beer & wine, yes, but not coffee & tea. If the jacuzzi is listed as an amenity (as it is on the Francehotel guide), it should be free--or stated as an extra charge; however, again, if an inn HAS a jacuzzi, i have never heard of charging for it. We ran out of time anyhow, but i probably not have paid the extra 10 euros for it out of principle. It somehow didn't feel right--esp considering how gracious the hosts were. I'm sure they aren't aware that it doesn't look good. It would be better to increase the room price a little than to have add-on charges which appear to be "nickel and diming". This is my recommendation to make it perfect into a 5 star place! Because everything else was so wonderful!
