A historic and charming hotel.
A charming hotel, where refinement rhymes with excellence.
Attentive staff, not too much and not too little, just what is needed to make a stay charming.
The rooms are air-conditioned but the building is old so it stays cool.
The bedding is great, enough to sleep like babies.
The bathroom with shower and bathtub is really pleasant.
The atrium is under construction but we were able to enjoy the quiet in the inner courtyard.
Special mention to the exceptional pianist who gave us some beautiful evenings.
The SPA, it only lacks a jacuzzi but the sauna, steam room and pool are very pleasant.
The breakfast is filled with regional, high-quality products, more than enough to satisfy your taste buds.

On our first day, we asked for an extra luggage rack, but it was never delivered, so we had to ask again the following day. We also told the receptionist that the refrigerator in our room was not working. No one ever came to check it, so we were unable to use it during our stay.
On another day, while we were sleeping late, the housekeeper attempted to enter the room. The door was latched, so he could not come in, but rather than leaving us alone after realizing that we were inside, he continued trying to open the door. We eventually got up and told him that we were still sleeping and asked him to come back later, at which point he pressed us to give him a specific time to return.
These are relatively small things, but they are not what one would expect from a five-star hotel. That said, the staff was always friendly, and overall the hotel is attractive, clean, and very well located.

In Rouen not to be missed..excellent garage.
The hotel isn’t easy to get to but listen in detail and if you follow orders its ok.
Dinner closes at 8.30 so we went to the bar which externally looks great but inside … not so sure.
It’s in the centre of town so food is easily obtained within 10 paces.
Housekeeping good
Secure garage excellent.
We skipped breakfast but €28 looked good.

Both rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Lovely quiet location and vibes inside the hotel.
We made use of the spa too which was lovely.
