a few days to the sailor

Well located hotel with Babeth and her daughter who are in our care. A little "young" move instead could be a plus and speed up maintenance of the access door at night. If you are sensitive to noise ask for the rooms on the back of the property as it is not possible to sleep with the window open roadside in the middle of the season. Very well placed to go to Quiberon by bike.

I call early and they confirm that my reservation is cancelled, not to worry that it's done, and I will be refunded... A week later nothing is refunded and they tell me they will keep my money and refuse to make the cancellation... Their word is worthless...

Au revoir ... Le petit matelot

Personale gentilissimo!! The room was very clean, quiet and the structure well maintained, also very close to the beach, about 40 MT. Strategic location to visit Quiberon, Carnac and surroundings. Hearty breakfasts, sweet and savory for all needs. Good value for money. Consigliatissimo!

One week stay in a hostel

This hostel looks cute on the site and the location it is located.
Be careful if you book a room, especially facing the very noisy main road, day and night. But the rear overlooks the sea as the crow flies, beyond the residential houses close to the water.
The manager will welcome you with a smile, but that could betray your confidence and behind this smile some inappropriate mood swings.
The hotel is quite old and expensive for 2 stars.
As for lunch, the service in the form of a decent buffet will reconcile you without exaggeration. Good visit!

Booked three nights - stayed for six.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the train station, although we arrived on a bus from Auray, which stops a couple of hundred metres down the road, so we found it easily. The owner, Louis, is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in all regards. The room was very clean, of adequate size and comfortable. The reception area has a shop at one end and the breakfast room at the other. There is an array of interesting features in all three sections. Breakfast is self-serve continental style, with warm croissants and fresh bread delivered by Louis to make it a good start to the day. We stayed for six nights after booking for only three, as we saw immediately we would enjoy our stay. Good location, with Quiberon a short train journey away, and the islands by ferry from there, and Carnac to the north. Highly recommended.
