A true haven of peace in St. Tropez

We had an excellent stay at La Bastide de Saint-Tropez. The location is ideal, just a few minutes from the center while offering a calm and relaxing environment. The welcome is particularly warm and the entire team shows great kindness and a true sense of hospitality.
The service is impeccable, with a very convenient shuttle that makes it easy to reach the city center as well as the beaches. The decor is authentic, elegant and full of charm, creating a refined and soothing atmosphere.
A place where serenity, comfort and attention to the smallest details reign. We will return with great pleasure and recommend this address without the slightest hesitation.

The hotel is very beautiful and has an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. Everything is aesthetically pleasing and it smells amazing when you enter, which gives a very nice first impression.
Unfortunately, the service did not live up to expectations. We visited the hotel during a very hot day and went there to ask if it was possible to rent sunbeds by the pool. The staff informed us that it went well as long as we had lunch in the restaurant and that the sunbeds would then be free of charge.
After we had our lunch, the big surprise came – on the bill they had added €100 for two sunbeds. We were very upset because it was the exact opposite of what we had been informed about. It felt like we'd been set up. Only after a discussion was a supervisor allowed to come and approve an exemption and remove the fee.
If we had received correct information from the beginning, we would have chosen to book sunbeds on the beach instead.
The service in general was also disappointing. The staff was slow, rarely picked up dishes and it was difficult to get any attention to order or get help.
Too bad because the hotel itself is very beautiful. With better communication and a more attentive service, the experience could have been much better.

WARNING! UNTRUSTWORTHY HOTEL! STUFF STOLE FROM MY SAFE!

I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by my recent stay at this hotel because my expensive watch was stolen directly out of my room electronic safe. I have been a loyal returning customer here for a long time but after this nightmare I will never step foot in this place again. This was not a random outsider sneak in, someone from the hotel staff explicitly used a master key to override my safe and rob me. They clearly targeted my room because they knew there are no security cameras in the hallways making it completely impossible to track who entered and left. Management did absolutely nothing to help me and they are just hiding behind the lack of cameras to protect a literal thief on their own payroll. If you value your belongings and your safety do not stay here under any circumstances because your items are not safe even inside a locked safe and the staff absolutely cannot be trusted!

Discretion and privacy almost downtown

Very pleasant hotel, discreet reserved, a few minutes walk from the center.
