Can't recommend this more highly.
Such a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting with wonderful staff.
Feels so luxurious. Bedrooms were lovely, breakfast excellent and the pool and pool bar a real treat.

Too expensive for what it is

The location of this hotel is nice, but the hotel itself is mediocre. We had a very small room, hardly bigger than the double bed, and a minuscule bathroom (220 euros). Despite the heatwave there was no bottle of water in the room. There is a small pool outside with many loungers but it is all a bit sloppy. There is a restaurant which serves a good dinner, but the menu is very limited and it is expensive. Breakfast is nothing special and totally overpriced at 26 euros pp. I cannot recommend this place.

4.5 Star Rating

We stayed for one night on a trip down to our home in the South of France.4.5 Stars would be my preferred rating.
It was a bit further than we expected off off the Autoroute, but worth it.
We stayed in a ground floor annex room, which is a nice block a short walk from the main Hotel ( about 100 m). There are ground floor rooms and first floor rooms. Some face the car park and other face the forest and small river. Fortunately, we had the latter!. The rooms are fine, (See Photos) and nicely Air Conditioned with most usual appointments. Missing was a waste paper basket, Shower cap,Tea bagsand a small chair to sit on in front of the desk if you are using a computer.There was a mini bar fridge , but it only contained a bottle of water. A bottle of local wine, a couple of beers and a couple of sodas would have been nice and happy to pay for consumption of items, but alas, there were none.
The Wi Fi was strong, but so awful to log onto, I used a Hotspot on my iPhone.
Decent selection of food at breakfast, but we only wanted an orange juice and croissant, which made it an expensive breakfast for what we consumed.I'm sure many people get their monies worth though.
The restaurant was good, but the Sea Bass was strange!
Would I return ?...Yes

Had a fantastic overnight stay whilst on our way to Switzerland. The property, its grounds, bedroom, bathroom, staff, restaurant… basically everything lived up to and exceeded my expectations.
The room was spacious, comfortable and had twin beds as we requested.
Although we didn't have time for breakfast but the quality of food served during dinner was incredibly good – which is very high praise because we're both foodies with high expectations. Compliments to all the restaurant staff.
Would we recommend this hotel? Absolutely!!!

Poor communication

The hotel is reasonable, the rooms in the annex are dated. The restaurant is expensive but good. Communication with this hotel is terrible. A precious sweater was left lying around. Immediately called and they had found the sweater. So much for everything. Then it goes wrong. People stop responding or string you along. Eventually one stops reacting altogether. Very customer unfriendly
