Clean room, maybe slightly outdated. Air conditioning isn’t really air conditioning, just blows air. Much cooler to open the door to the balcony which was a lovely touch. Mini fridge for our own drinks and a whole mini kitchen with plates, cutlery and cups etc. you could even cook there if you wish. Bathroom was separate to the toilet which was great. Lovely soft beds. Tv was just basic local channels but didn’t bother us. Overall really good value for money. We ended up paying 2 euros for parking on the public spots outside.

In a pinch...
One of the worst 4* hotels.
We are not the only guests for whom the air conditioning and the bathroom ventilation do not work.
According to reviews, the problem has existed for a long time.
When the air conditioning is not working, the staff opens the balcony window at an outside temperature of 35 degrees so that you get thoroughly cooked.
It is cleaned poorly.
The bathroom fixtures are defective; they are tarnished and discolored.
The board on which the baguettes are cut for breakfast is broken, and overall, the breakfast is mediocre at best.
By and large, one can say the hotel has long since seen its best years and is in need of a complete renovation.

4-star hotel NOT air-conditioned
NOT AIR-CONDITIONED hotel
In the middle of a heatwave, we had construction work in our house. Dust, noise, heat: we took two nights at the Bach residence right next to our place.
We were first given a room on the fourth floor. The air conditioning was blowing, certainly, but not cold air: the room was very hot.
We asked for explanations at the front desk, which told us a first lie: on the upper floors, the air conditioning struggles with this heat. We therefore asked for, and obtained, a room on the first floor that seemed cooler. But we quickly realized that the air conditioning was not working any better than on the fourth; if the room was cooler, it was only because it was less exposed to the sun.
Once again, the people at the front desk tried to feed us a line. "It's for ecological reasons, we don't air-condition to 20, etc...." 20 degrees? We were far from that, and in any case, we weren't asking for 20 degrees, just a little coolness. Finally, they admitted that the air conditioning was broken.
Well, air conditioning broken during such heat, we understood, even if the previous lies stuck in our craw.
This morning, while passing by the hotel, I realized that the front desk doors and the breakfast room doors are still wide open; in short, two weeks later, the air conditioning is still not repaired.
I then looked at the reviews on Google; for two years, guests have been complaining about the lack of air conditioning, two years that this hotel has boasted of being air-conditioned and in fact is not.
If this mishap happens to you too, don't hesitate to do as we did, contact Booking or the organization you booked with: the lies must stop.
It is also possible to contact the fraud department (a 4-star hotel must be air-conditioned) by providing the hotel's SIRET number, which can be easily found on the Internet.

The best I can say about this place is that it's in a great location. Quiet, yet easy bus to city centre, and literally across the road from a lovely park.

Poor management
I would not recommend this hotel. The AC did not work and was admitted by the staff however no action was possible. However, later this is completely denied by management. At temperatures of >30 degrees this was really unpleasant (only the ventilation worked). If the management keeps claiming that the rooms are AC with temperatures between 17 and 20 degrees and this was absolutely not true, then my advice is choose another hotel
