Great hotel, warmly recommended.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location opposite the two buses leaving the area of La Lac. The rooms are pleasant, spacious enough, excellent breakfast, nice little spa.

April at the Refuge

Lovely stay for 3 nights in April at the Refuge. Ideal location, polite and accommodating staff. Nice rooms. Needs a little modernisation, but quaint and alpine.
Would defo stay again.
Breakfast filling and has hot and cold options.

Veel te duur voor wat het is en onvriendelijke /onbeleefde eigenares die helaas niet open stond voor commentaar!

Your hotel enjoys an ideal central location, right next to one of the most beautiful and largest terraces on the lake, sunny all day. Every morning an excellent breakfast is served by two lovely people! Unfortunately, many of the rooms' facilities and facilities are outdated and need to be replaced. The price per night for a 3-star hotel is exorbitant! I changed rooms, too small for me, for a double room and I was willing to pay extra, but not the amount I was charged! Unfortunately, the landlady refused to listen to my arguments and repeatedly interrupted me. I've always run my own business, but I was open to discussing and listening to my clients' needs, and sometimes I had to admit that they were right. I learned from it! I had originally booked through Booking.com. The owner charged me the Booking commission twice, and it was only after that that that the price difference between the single room and the double room was calculated! In this way, I paid more than 20% more than the original price for the same room. In a single week, this represents a difference of more than 120 €! It wasn't just about money, it was about principle! I visited other hotels around here and I can assure you that the management was much more welcoming and room rates more affordable! If I return to Tignes, I will definitely choose another hotel! Think twice before booking!

Bonjour Monsieur,
Pour rappel vous aviez réservé une chambre single standard (au Nord sans balcon) au prix de 1540€ via Booking.com donc sans les petits-déjeuners (soit 1631€ avec les petits-déjeuners). Lorsque vous nous avez demandé une chambre plus grande, dans une période de forte affluence nous n'avions à vous proposer qu'une chambre double supérieure avec balcon et vue sur le lac. Vous avez accepté le supplément et avez déménagé. Il n'y a pas eu de surfacturation ni de paiement double de la commission comme vous l'affirmez.
Nous restons un hôtel familial, accueillant et honnête sur nos prestations et nos prix. La grande majorité de notre clientèle nous reconnaît ces qualités. Nous sommes désolés que votre expérience chez n'ait pas été satisfaisante.

Best choice for years.

Best choice for a stay in Tignes.
A hotel with a family character like there are still few in Tignes. Great location and friendly staff.
