Very good location and price
This is a traditional French hotel, they have somehow divided up the rooms to make more, so they are small but ample. So although the rooms can't compete with one of the grand hotels close by we are paying about one third of the price.
So for a budget city centre hotel, this is excellent and vastly better than ones we have visited in Geneva, Milan and Paris in the last few weeks.
We needed to be close to the station and this hotel is right outside.

Flying visit
This hotel/bar/restaurant is a good little stop off if your heading from Calais to the south of France , two minutes off the motorway.
It’s a rustic place like walking into an old fashion ski lodge. The rooms are pretty basic but again like being in a ski lodge which gives it a unique character, the family room is a two storey room but beware of the steps up to the first floor of this room they are rather steep.
No kettle to make a coffee or tea or even warm the baby’s milk.
Was very disappointed with the food I ordered in their restaurant, I ordered tartiflette (my favorite food) it arrived and was stone cold in the middle, they took it away and it took so long to be sorted out that my children had almost finished their food except my youngest child who was sharing my food, I was rather annoyed that when it came back it was over cooked and burnt to the point that most of it was inedible I fed what I could to my little one and left the rest ( which was a lot) and they still charged me for it! The waiter didn’t even ask if the food was okay at any point and had got the dessert order wrong.
Back to the room the nights sleep wasn’t two bad apart from when someone was returning to the hotel after midnight and we were woken by them slamming the garage door shut that was underneath our room.
Upon checking out we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay, if we had slept well or if breakfast and dinner was okay. I paid more for the food than room!

Excellent location next to motorway for overnight stay friendly staff and lovely reasonably priced restaurant
Excellent location right next to motorway ideal for overnight stop on the way to South of France. Resteraunt very good with excellent menu choice at reasonable prices explained very well to us by the friendly head waiter.
Rooms compact but more than adequate for a comfortable overnight stop.
Train station over the road but we didn't notice any excessive noise during our stay.
All in all very welcoming and comfortable overnight stay which we would certainly use again

Cheap but not good value
We found this hotel at the end of a long days travel. Having established they had a room and booked in the room was very small - no room to put our suitcase. The room and bathroom were clean but there was no aircon and the fans did not really cool things down.
The restaurant was OK. The food was guite good but the drinks were very expensive - 5 euros for a bottle of sparkling water.
Breakfast was declined, again the price for a coffee and croissant was 8 euros, much to the disappointment of the owner.
When we checked out we were surprised to find that we had been charged 7 euros for parking, something that we were not advised about when we parked our car.
Overall, not a very good expereience.

Attention punaises de lit
J’ai eu 21 piqûres sur le front, le cou et le haut du dos dans la nuit du 5 au 6 novembre 2022 chambre n°107, des gros boutons plutôt groupés et qui grattent beaucoup. Le patron contacté m’a dit qu’ils ont bien vérifié la literie et rien trouvé, que ça doit être des moustiques, donc attention à vous car bien que la chambre soit propre il pourrait y avoir des punaises qui vous attendent

meme réponse que sur google: lors de votre départ, vous nous avez signalé 2 piqures dans le cou, vous nous avez informé avoir vérifié les draps, les taies d' oreiller qu'ils étaient blanc immaculé sans aucune trace de sang ou de déjection d'insecte, que vous n'aviez pas non plus apercu des insectes pendant la nuit ou le matin. après votre départ nous avons fait la meme constatation drap, couette, taies d'oreiller sans aucune trace, nous avons soulevé la literie et meme constatation aucune trace. dans l après midi vous nous avez contacté sans nous informer de l'augmentation de 2 a 21 piqures pour nous faire un chantage le remboursement de la chambre ou la mise d'un commentaire sur les réseaux sociaux, nous avons refusé ce chantage. En tant que professionnel de l'hotellerie depuis plus de 30 ans nous sommes de plus en plus vigilant au problème des punaises de lit et nous avons toujours la hantise qu'un client nous en rapporte dans ses bagages et nous faire subir une infestation nous vous informons que chez certaines personnes les symptomes de piqures peuvent se manifester a retardement jusqu'a 15 jours après s'etre fait piqué néanmoins, nous avons pris note de vos observations, ce lundi nous avons contacté un professionnel de la désinsectisation ,pris RDV pour avis et bloquons la chambre jusqu'a son passage
