This hotel was such a lovely surprise. We sometimes stay in the Campanile in Calais which really needs a refurbishment but is fine for our needs however, this was lovely. The rooms are big, we were in a heatwave and the air conditioning was bliss, the man on reception was really welcoming and we were comfortable. Can't ask for more.

Good parking. Accessible from motorway. Reasonable steakhouse in Ibis opposite. Close to large supermarket. Bus ride into Metz.

The price-performance ratio was spot on. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast was also fine. The hotel is definitely well-suited for a business trip.

Overall, a very good modern hotel, close to major roads, with a clean and quiet room.

A rather good location in the commercial and industrial area north of Metz, close to the highway access to Luxembourg - Nancy and the A4. Shops, leisure activities, and 2 restaurants nearby. Very easy access.

THE ESTABLISHMENT/RECEPTION AREA/CHECK-IN: 4/5

A recent establishment that does not resemble the usual Campanile style, and this is evident at first glance: it was a B&B Hotel that did not remain open for long and was taken over by Campanile.
Thus, there is not at all the Campanile signature, but it gives something modern, human-sized since there are only 2 floors.
A nice reception area to relax. Very good welcome, simple and quick check-in. Elevator to access the floors.

Spacious and modern room, wooden floor, large wardrobe, desk with a small welcome tray, luggage rack, TV, comfortable bedding. Once again, we recognize the B&B Hotel design, reinterpreted by Campanile. Everything is clean and air-conditioned.
Very good soundproofing and a very quiet environment as it is not directly on the road.

THE BATHROOM & SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES: 2/5

In terms of the bathroom, there is a sink (a bit clogged, same in 2 different rooms), toilet, large open shower in B&B style, so it gets the bathroom quite wet, hairdryer. Products and towels are provided. The cleanliness could be better as there are quite a few persistent hairs, for example on the hairdryer which is not cleaned. Effective ventilation system.
Sustainable practices not tested, but it is stated that towels are only changed upon request or it is possible to indicate that no cleaning is wanted.

Breakfast service in the form of a classic sweet/savory buffet with croissants, chocolate croissants, brioche, pound cake, breads, jams, cereals, cold cuts, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, yogurts, fruit salad, and as a hot item, only sausages. Scrambled eggs are missing to properly complete the meal. It's good but nothing remarkable.

A very good hotel overall, with a somewhat surprising style when looking for the Campanile signature as it is nothing alike. But it is well maintained, the room is clean, although the bathroom needs some attention regarding maintenance. Access and parking are very easy. A good recommendation for a hotel located away from the city center but at a low cost.

This was booked as an overnight stop over on the way to Italy. We arrived about 8pm in the evening and the lady who checked us in was extremely polite and helpful as to where we could eat that evening. The room was very clean and tidy and very functional. Breakfast was very adequate and there was plenty to choose from. As an over night stop this hotel suited all our requirements, including a large free secure car park. If I was doing a similar journey then I would certainly use this hotel again.
