Amazing stay!

Negolodge was a sight to see and a stay to experience. I stayed for a week and while there the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The lodge is extremely beautiful, clean and was constantly kept up to good standard. Such an amazing place to enjoy vacation. Truly got to relax and enjoy life in such a picturesque environment. Will continue to stay at Negolodge time and time again! Thank you all for everything! Truly a memorable experience!!

Beware of the manager!

Although it is a beautiful setting, it lacks a lot of the amenities claimed, and certainly no views whatsoever! The manager, Silva, is only interested in extorting as much money as he can from customers! I went for one of the self-contained apartments, the bathroom, although clean, had a lot of mould/dirt on the grout and shower door, making you squirm whilst having a shower. I had to point it out in the morning. The shower door was cleaned, not the tiles!
Although the staff are very friendly, I'd advise anyone to get anything they want themselves, as it is easily accessible. If you ask a question about where to get anything, the manager will step in to offer his help, but he will charge you a fortune, sometimes 4x the price of the item because he got it for you. To top it all, he claimed the bank account of the property has issues, so you can only pay to His personal account, which I found to be very bizarre! He will harass you, till the only option is to pay to his personal account, to which I am still demanding a receipt for my stay, to no avail! What a scam!

JUST LIKE HOME

Nego Lodge is just like a home. At first, our experience was a terrible one. On arrival at the hotel, there was no one to attend to our us, we had to wait till some one came from outside to attend to us, The man happen to be a staff of the accommodation.
The hotel was not easily located, there were no road direction to lead you to hotel, so locating it was difficult.
Our check in was okay, room was ok, but the bed was not too cool, toilet was too small, Nice compound.
The house keepers were excellent, they attend to your need as requested,
our stay was awesome. we enjoyed our short stay.

A deception

We rented an apartament with an independent entrance, But it Was room in a guesthouse, sharing bathroom and with the entrance through the dinning room. Not clean. Windows don't close properly so mosquits will kill you. Very bad location. Very expensive taking into account that a room in Accra center usually cost three times less.
Not recommended.

Nice hotel

This was a very nice hotel in Ghana. Very friendly staff and very clean hotel. I would definitely stay there again. Make sure you ask about the location of your bathroom as our bathroom was separated from our room in the hallway. You can lock the door for the toilet and the shower but have to go just a little outsider he room to use. Some Americans may not like it but I started to get used to it. When in Rome do as the Romans do. We enjoyed our stay. I wouldn't stay anywhere else?
