Terrible customer service, would not recommend to family or friends due to unprofessional staff members.

My family and I recently visited LeoPalace Resort for a family day at the pool. When we entered the lobby, we noticed a Biba café that offered smoothies, coffee, and ice cream. Since my children wanted smoothies, we decided to stop there before going to the main desk to get our pool passes.
When we approached the counter, a young employee named Jeniah was on her cell phone. I politely asked if we could place an order, and she rolled her eyes and said, "Just a minute." She put her phone down on the counter but never appeared to end the call.
When I ordered two smoothies—one strawberry and one mango—she gave me a look that made it seem as though my order was an inconvenience. I was uncomfortable with her attitude and asked to speak with a manager. However, she repeatedly insisted that no managers were available at the time.
I found her behavior rude and unprofessional. As guests, we expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. Because of this interaction, we decided not to make a purchase and chose to take our business elsewhere.
I believe LeoPalace should place greater emphasis on customer service when hiring and training front-facing employees, especially those who may be among the first staff members guests encounter upon arrival. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression on our family.

There is an extra $40 fee per child over the age of 11 that was not included in the price of the hotel per night.
Staff could not explain what this fee was for.

bargain with views of ocean in a distance

Big rooms with kitchenette. Plust pools, bowling alley, golf course, etc. Some parts of the resort are modern and nice, some parts of this resort are old and need refurbishing.
