Highly recommended!

The cottage was perfectly equipped. With new windows and doors this was quite modern!
A beautiful accommodation in a quiet location with very attentive and helpful staff.
Unfortunately, there is no direct access to the sea. But, via the road you can reach the water quickly.

A perfect place to rest and enjoy

A wonderful place to rest and enjoy Livingston. I had a hard time finding a place that met my expectations, and it met them fully. I slept perfectly, the cabin very comfortable, everything very clean, the windows with meshes to prevent insects from entering and the beds with mosquito nets. The beautiful and well-kept environment, the garden, the plants... Excellent staff, good restaurant and affordable prices. If I go back to Livingston, I would definitely stay here again.

Casa de la Iguana stay

A wonderful hostel! Very comfortable with a beautiful garden area to hang out, lots of spots both for people to hangout together or alone. Great prices for drinks and food! I stayed in both dorms and a private room, both amazing. The dorms were super close to lots of showers and bathrooms, also great place to sleep! As for the private room, it was beautifully designed and so cozy.
I had a medical emergency during my stay and was fully supported by the family that owns it. They went above and beyond to help and ensure that my friend and I were comfortable. They are so kind and genuine.
I would very much recommend this place to both backpackers and people just travelling in Livingston.

Renovating-still open!!

Casa de la Iguana has just changed ownership and is now striving for a more chill vibe. When I was there the owners were doing renovations and they were very friendly and laid back! Apparently the former owner doesn’t want them to get clients as he has a newly open hostel that is now competition (but still access to the fb and website) so he has listed the hostel as closed online. It’s open though!

Great staff

The staff were amazing, as was the manager, Chris. They were super friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed, plus they were always up for a party!!!!! The name is no joke either - we saw some huge iguanas during our stay!
