Exceptionally Good
We recently stayed here for 5 nights. Our host (Gill) was welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful. She made us a pot of tea on arrival and the following morning showed us the quick way into town and booked various restaurants for us. You got the sense that nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with everything we might need to hand. Wifi connectivity was good. As with most rooms nowadays there were tea and coffee-making facilities. However, what was different was that unlimited fresh milk was available for this in the dining room, complete with little jugs, a real treat when so many places just provide a couple, or maybe four, mini capsules of longlife milk.
The dining room and lounge were comfortable, and the garden was pretty, with plenty of seating. There were books and games available in the lounge.
Breakfast was both generous and delicious, made from good quality ingredients.
The guest house itself is almost directly opposite a track leading to the coastal path, great for making the most of opportunities for walking and bird watching.
On the day of our check-out we were able to use our room until we left for the airport in the afternoon, a real bonus.
We look forward to staying here again.
